People began to travel ages ago. The very first travellers were explorers who went on trips to find wealth, fame or something else.

Their journeys were very dangerous-but still people keep on going to the unknown lands.

Nowadays it is not as dangerous and much more convenient. Do you want to go somewhere? Hundreds of companies are there to help you. They will take care about your tickets and make all the reservations needed.

You don’t speak the language of the country you go to? There are interpreters that will help you.

With modern services you can go around the world. You can choose the means of transport you like: plane, train, ship, bicycle or you can travel hiking.

Tourism became a very profitable business because people are ready to spend their money for the great opportunity to have a great time learning about new countries, going sightseeing, resting and enjoying themselves.

Люди начали путешествовать давным-давно. Самые первые путешественники были исследователями, которые отправлялись в путь на поиски богатства, славы или чего-нибудь еще.

Их путешествия были очень опасными, но люди все продолжали идти к неизведанным землям.

Сейчас это не так опасно, да и более удобно. Хотите поехать куда-нибудь? Есть сотни компаний, которые помогут вам. Они позаботятся о ваших билетах и забронируют все что нужно.

Вы не говорите на языке страны, в которую едете? Есть переводчики, которые помогут вам.

Современный уровень сервиса дает вам возможность путешествовать вокруг света. Вы можете выбрать вид транспорта, который вам нравится: самолет, поезд, корабль, велосипед, или вы можете путешествовать пешком.

Туризм стал очень выгодным бизнесом, потому что люди готовы платить деньги за хорошую возможность великолепно провести время, изучая новые страны, осматривая достопримечательности, отдыхая и получая при этом удовольствие.
 

I enjoy travelling because of sightseing, learning  foreign languages during the travel.

You may visit fantastic places, get acquainted with unusual cultures and customs.

Most pleasant way to travel is by plane, I guess.

When  the plane takes off, and then rises high above the clouds, you feel yourself like a bird, surfing the sky.
I prefer travelling by myself, or with my best friends.

We have already visited lots of foreign countries, such as Australia, India, Cyprus, and many others.
  Last time my parents took revenge at me for my independent behaviour and they sent me at the tourist camp at Adygea. That was awful! I had to climb slipping mountains, to eat spoiled porridge and I caught a cold during the trip.
I didnt like the trip at all, although I taught, how to make a fire, and I learnt lots of stuff about surviving at unfamiliar terrain

Modern life is impossible without travelling. People travel the globe to see modern cities and ancient towns, to enjoy picturesque places, or just for a change of scene. But does travelling really broaden our minds? On the one hand, it does because when you travel you are exposed to things which you would probably never experience if you stayed at home. To begin with, travelling gives us an opportunity to explore the country and learn about its customs and traditions. In addition, it is a good chance to try national food and take part in national festivals. Moreover, travelling is the best way to practise foreign languages and to make new friends. However, there are people who travel to ’all inclusive clubs. It does not really matter to them which country they are in as long as they have an opportunity to relax. They do not bother to practise a foreign language and even if they go on excursions, they only take pictures and do not get any useful information. In this case travelling does not broaden their mind. Besides, when people travel on business, they are usually too concerned about their problems and have little time to explore the place they travel to.
To sum up, travel can expand people’s outlook if they travel in order to gain new experiences. On the contrary, if tourists are too lazy, they will not benefit from their journeys. So we may say that travel broadens the minds which want to be broadened.

Out of all possible road trips – the best one is by car. The moment when you finish packing, put everything inside the, sit inside it, buckle up look at your friend sitting next to you, smile and…go!  And then begins the most wonderful part of the road trip. It is not the place you are heading to – it is what you see from the opened window of the car. The best part is when you leave you home before the dawn. The DAWN! I really like to meet the first flashes of the awakening new day. Long before the dawn when you look in the direction of the east you see how the sun informs the world about its arrival. It paints the dark sky with its beams and the last stars disappear.

I love to meet the sun, while driving out a road trip in a car. I am amazed by its game and its morning flashes of the sun rays. First, you notice a crimson-red stripe on the horizon. Then, the stripe becomes orange, pink and eventually the sun fills everything around. And it always seems like for the first time in your life you see a green leaflet, the trees, which grow right next to your car window and a light gaze over the nature which waking up to meet a new day.

Two seasons of the year are perfect for a road trip – spring and autumn. Spring is my favorite season of the year. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful time of the year. Because when you are sitting in a car on your way to your destination - you open the car windows and can actually feel that the world is clean and ready for a new life. The green grass is so fresh that when you inhale you can scent it in your lungs. You close your eyes…take a deep breath and all the sudden you hear the spring birds singing the fascinating music. Sometimes, among the trees you see the birds twisting nests or at least you hope that it is what you see. I like to observe the spring nature. The nature glorifies the arrival of spring. The air is filled with a fragrant smell of the plants. A road-trip during spring is wonderful this is why I love it so much.

A road-trip for in autumn is beautiful, too. The golden warm autumn! The golden brush touches everything around – the gardens, the fields, the groves, the woods. The carpet of nature is covered with yellow and orange leafs. The whole Earth has been covered by color foliage as if you drive through a fine carpet. This is the moment of good bye of the summer and the begging of winter. The air is sharp, cool and fresh. You simply put on a warmer sweater but never put the window up!

A road trip for me is the moment of communication with nature; it is a dialogue between the nature and me. The beauty that you observe during a car road trip refreshed you, purify you soul and you mind!

Many people think that wild animals, living in jungles, forests and mountains, are cruel, and animals living in the zoo are kind, funny and they are real peoples’ best friends. But it’s not like that. Not everyone knows that these animals aren’t happy to live in the zoo because they live there like in prison. People that come to see them on the weekends often feed animals with food which is not good for them, and after that monkeys, bears and others are falling ill. Animals are afraid of their masters as they beat them in cages to be calm and obedient. and every day they have to do things they don’t like.  animals can’t run and jump as the like because they are not free. The zoo also travel very often from one town to another. It’s very hard for poor animals. We can’t forget that we should take care of animals because they are our little brothers and friends. We should be responsible for them, and let them live in their native places - in jungles, forests and mountains as they are free there and happy.

People like to travel. Люди любят путешествовать.
They travel on business or for pleasure. Они путешествуют по делам и ради удовольствия.

 There are different ways of travelling. Существуют разные виды путешествий.  
They are: travelling by plane, by bus, by train, by car and by ship. Это: самолётом, автобусом, поездом, машиной и на корабле.

 As for me, my favorite way of travelling is by train. Что касается меня, мой любимый способ путешествия - на поезде.

 Last summer I went to my grandparents by train. Прошлым летом я ездила к бабушке и дедушке на поезде.
It was great! Это было здорово!

There are many different hobbies in the world. but my favorite is travelling. 

For me travelling, it’s just the way to have fun, to relax and to see new places, make new friends.

I like to travell by plane and by car. Fourtanately, i have got an opportunity to travel a lot. That’s why i try not to miss every chance i have. 

So, when I travell abroad, i always take photos. This activity helps me to cherish some memories from the travell. Also, i always buy souvenirs for my friends.

My last travel experience was 3 months ago. I’d travelled to paris with my parents. It was marvellous! I done many photos, bought souvenirs and spent time with my family.

I really like travelling! 

Modern life is impossible without travelling. Many people make their choice on travelling by train. Travelling by train is of course slower than by air but it also has its advantages. If you are going to travel by train you’d better book seats beforehand because many people are fond of travelling by train. Then you go to a railway station. There you will see hundreds of people hurrying to catch a train. You’ll waste a lot of time standing near the booking-office trying to buy a ticket. Modern trains have very comfortable seats in all passenger cars, and there are sleeping-cars and dining-cars which make even the longest journey enjoyable. You can buy first-class, second-class and third-class sleepers in a separate compartment. If you are early before the train starts you can leave your suit-cases in the compartment and walk up and down the platform. Some people forget when and from which platform their train will be off. They can always ask for the track, platform and train numbers at the railroad station information bureau and also get information about next trains and their schedules. There are express, slow and long-distance trains. If you want to go somewhere and get there as quickly as possible you’d better know that express trains only stop at the largest stations while slow trains stop at all stations. You can get to far countries only by a long-distance train. Once you are in your compartment you have to ask the guide to bring in the bedding. There are usually two lower and two upper berths in a third-class sleeper compartment. Some people like to occupy upper berths because it is more convenient and exciting to travel. During your way on the train you can read newspapers, books, look out of the window, drink the tea, communicate with your neighbors or sleep. I prefer to look out of the window, because you can see the country you are passing through, and not only the clouds as when you are flying. You can have something to eat at the stations when the train makes stops. Though we all seem to agree that the future belongs to air transport, the railroads today still carry a lot of passengers and goods.

I have a dream. I would like to go to London one day. I read a lot of books and watch films about this wonderful place.

London is the capital of Great Britain and it's the biggest city, too. The capital has many places of interest. If I visit London I will visit British museum. It is one the most famous museums all over the world. Also I want to see the heart of London - Trafalgar Square. And, of course, I will take a picture near the Buckingham Palace.

I hope one day my dream will come true.   

It is necessary to learn foreign languages. That’s why pupils have got such subject as a foreign language at school. Everybody knows his own language, but it is useful to know foreign languages.

I learn English, because I understand that I can use it. For example, if I do to England I’ll be able to speak English too. English is used not only in England, but also in other countries.

I learn English because I want to read foreign literature in the original. I know and like such English and American writers as Charles Dickens, Mark Twain and others. I understand that I must learn English. If I know English well, I’ll be able to go to the library and take books by English and American writers in the original.

I like to travel. But it is difficult to visit countries, when you don’t know the language of these countries. If I know the language of the country, where I am going to, it will be easy do travel there. If I want to ask something, I can do it in English.

There are international friendship camps in the world. If you can speak foreign languages, it will be easy for you to visit such camps and speak with the boys, girls, men, women who do not know Russian.

In short, I understand that I have to learn English in a proper way and I try to do it.
