All books about London usually starts with the same phrase: «The capital of Great Britain is London». Of course, it is true. This fact knows practically everybody. But there are also so many other interesting and marvellous information about London. For me London is adream city, a city which I want to visit one day.
Obviously, London is a great place to see. Thefirst world underground was built in London. London subway is famous all over the world. I want to have a look on it. With the help of London subway you will have a chance to know London.
London contains 4 parts, unlike to each other: the West End, the East End, the City and Westmister. The West End is famous for its various rich shops, reastaurants, museums. It is a part of London for people with a big amount of money. Contrarily, the East Endmeans poverty, working people are its inhabitants. The City is a business place. Here you can find a great amount of offices, companies, business centers. Lastly, Westmister is full of sightseeing attractions.
There are so many places in London to see that it is difficult to mark some most famous, but I’d try to do this. I can’t but mention Big Ben. Practically everybody knows that Big Ben is London famous clock. Far from Big Ben you will see London eye, the biggest one in Europe. It is a unique chance to see London from bird’s eye panorama. It’s height is 135 metres. London eye is one of the biggest in the world. London is famous for Westmister Abbey — a gothic church. It is a traditional place of king’s coronation and deposition. London is rich for its parks. They are loveable and homely. One of them is Guide Park. Here you can have a rest on weekends. It is famous fot it’s oratory corner. The list of London sightseeing attractions can be endless.
Finally I want to say that London is city-fairy tale. This city should visit everyone to broaden his/her outlook.

London is one of the most famous capital cities of the world, and every year it attracts crowds of visitors from home and abroad. They come to explore its historical buildings, to see its museum and galleries, its streets and parks, its people. Big Ben is one of the famous buildings in London. We all know that London is the capital of the Great Britain, so we can guess that there must be a lot of interesting places.
For example, the London eye - a very famous and quite high sight. Also, Buckingham Palace. It has been the official London residence of sovereigns since 1837. It is almost unreal to forget about Big Ben, as everybody knows how this clock tower looks like. It is actually the principal bell within the tower. I would also list the Westminster Abbey. It is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English monarch.
Another interesting sight of London must be Tower Bridge. It has stood over the river Thames since 1894. The Tower of London was founded by King William the Conqueror in 11th century.
To conclude, I want to say that London seems interesting to me. If I had a chance to visit it, I would certainly do it, because London is also a very historical city, full of its own beautiful "secrets".

I always wanted to go to live in London. London is the capital of one of the most aristocratic of the state in the world-England. I think London is a very interesting life. Old houses and aristocratic style street always inspired me. I always wanted to visit this mysterious city, meet new people. In living in London there are a lot of pluses. you can go and watch the city’s attractions. you can also enjoy a traditional English tea in a cozy coffee shop. London is by far my favorite city. It holds so many surprises, multi-culture and a wide variety of entertainment to amuse even the most monotonous of people. The city attracts millions of individual characters: businessmen and women, homeless, buskers, Goths, punks, grungers, prostitutes, criminals the list is never ending.
If I’m looking for a bit of retail therapy I always head straight to Oxford Circus accompanied as usual by my trusty yet comical friend Cassie. Just as I got out of the tube station, I’m greeted by "Topshop, a deluxe yet affordable clothes outlet. It’s when I wander down towards Bond Street that I wish I’d saved some of the birthday money I’d received the year before just so I could feel confident enough to walk through the doors of "Selfridges, thinking I could actually purchase something. I envy girls my age parading the streets in their Gina shoes and designer clobber. I know it’s shallow, but everybody feels more glamorous if they wear clothing with a name.
We took the London Underground to Leicester Square. One of my favorite routines of going to the West End is travelling on the tube with Cassie. We satisfied our boredom on the tube by getting great pleasure out of a whoopee cushion during the "silence? between stations.
Our Saturday ritual was to wonder round the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus, to have a laugh and rinse our ten pence pieces in those machines where you drop a coin in hopefully causing another to fall off a shelf below which you would win. Blatantly the coins were stuck together conning eager children into spending all their allowance. I remember we stumbled across a karaoke machine in which you could record your own tape for a bargain at five pounds!

The City, where nobody lives, is the commercial and the financial centre of London. There are a lot of offices and banks there. London is not only a large city but it is also famous as a seaport.
