School
For each of us the school is the second house. There is also second mother - our first teacher. She taught us to write, read, logically to think. The teacher learns us to be kind, honest, it is correct to communicate, be on friendly terms.
The school gives us a support, gives heat and pleasure. Every morning we hurry in the light class where a warm smile the teacher meets us.
The school is the main step in our life. It builds up character, learns us to treat world around correctly. We find the first true friends in school and the first love.
The school is that place where we endure the first pleasures of victories and we try to hide bitter tears of defeats. The school learns us to overcome difficulties and not to stop on the reached. In school passes a set of actions – intellectual, sports and entertaining. Such actions do us more amicable, more solid.
We will always remember carefree school days, our school house, our teachers and schoolmates who became for us dear people.
I am proud of that I study at this school – to school with the history and traditions.

The Tower of London is one of the most imposing and popular of London’s historical sites.
Many stories associated with British history come from the Tower. In 1483 King Edward IV’s two sons were murdered in the so-called Bloody Tower. Over two centuries later the skeletons of two little boys were found buried beneath steps in the White Tower.
Countless prisoners, including the future Queen Elizabeth I of England, were brought to the Tower by barge and ascended the steps before being imprisoned. For many it was their last moment of freedom before their death. But Elizabeth was released from the Tower and became Queen. The King’s second wife, Anne Boleyn, was brought to trial there in 1536 and beheaded. Six years later her cousin, Catherine, Henry VIII’s fifth wife, suffered the same fate. Sir Thomas More was beheaded there in 1535.

The grandest structure in the world, located in an unusual place, and the title is appropriate. The Millennium Dome, built in the heart of the provisional reference in Greenwich, near Meridian, was intended to celebrate the new era guests from all over the world. Yes and the construction of the building, still called the Millenium House (Millennium Dome) or O2 Arena (The O2 Arena), was to become a landmark for London, plus the image of the country in the international arena and the significant revenue-generating money by further exploitation and sale.

All books about London usually starts with the same phrase: “The capital of Great Britain is London”. Of course, it is true. This fact knows practically everybody. But there are also so many other interesting and marvellous information about London. For me London is a dream city, a city which I want to visit one day.
Obviously, London is a great place to see. The first world underground was built in London. London subway is famous all over the world. I want to have a look on it. With the help of London subway you will have a chance to know London.
London contains 4 parts, unlike to each other: the West End, the East End, the City and Westmister. The West End is famous for its various rich shops, reastaurants, museums. It is a part of London for people with a big amount of money. Contrarily, the East End means poverty, working people are its inhabitants. The City is a business place. Here you can find a great amount of offices, companies, business centers. Lastly, Westmister is full of sightseeing attractions.
There are so many places in London to see that it is difficult to mark some most famous, but I’d try to do this. I can’t but mention Big Ben. Practically everybody knows that Big Ben is London famous clock. Far from Big Ben you will see London eye, the biggest one in Europe. It is a unique chance to see London from bird’s eye panorama. It’s height is 135 metres. London eye is one of the biggest in the world. London is famous for Westmister Abbey – a gothic church. It is a traditional place of king’s coronation and deposition. London is rich for its parks. They are loveable and homely. One of them is Guide Park. Here you can have a rest on weekends. It is famous fot it’s oratory corner. The list of London sightseeing attractions can be endless.
Finally I want to say that London is city-fairy tale. This city should visit everyone to broaden his/her outlook.
