Science is our power as human beings to use our wisdom and make decisions.

        When a loved one is dying of cancer, what would you do? Would you not do anything possible to try to help them? Here is where science has a role in our lives; when we want to do something otherwise difficult or impossible. Though the ways of learning science has changed over the years from solely thinking logically to reading classics to experimenting, the way scientific knowledge is used has not been changed. When there is an epidemic, medicine is used to carry out man’s will to cure it. When the Egyptian pyramids were to be built, architecture came into use.

        Yet science is not used only for such needful or elaborate situations. They also appear in our daily lives. We know it is important to wash ourselves regularly, only for biology. The Wright brothers were able to invent the airplane because they knew hot air rises, and since then, we have been able to use their technology to travel great distances in short periods of time.

        We humans would be so impotent without science. Science is our knowledge of the universe. It is natural to have for a being who thinks. If we did not have science, it would mean we are plain animals motivated purely by instinct. Our definition of "life" as a human would not exist. Great are the blessings of science.

        However, our wisdom is not complete, and can lead us to do wrong. Thereupon, science can be a curse. We have changed the passenger airplane into a fighter. Cameras for keeping memories spy on people. Cell phones for conversations are used to bully kids around, and even explode trains. Our greed, hatred, fear, wickedness, and stupidity have produced terrible uses of what our scientific knowledge has put together. As we all know from Spiderman, "With great power comes great responsibility."

        Science gives us options to do or not to do. Though each option has its consequences, it is a distinct strength which evidently separates us from animals. How we use it will greatly influence the lives of each one of us.

Internet has become a very important part of our lives. It connects billions of people from all around the world. People send e-mails through Gmail or Mail. ru. They share their vacation photos through Facebook or Tweet their thoughts and observations through Twitter. The Internet is not only the source of entertainment but also a great tool for education and work. Now with development of smart phones we can can be online wherever we go and I think it is only the beginning. Internet is only 20 years old and believe in another 20 years it will be very different from what it is today.

Интернет, нужен и не нужен в нашей жизни. Нужен т. К. Вместо того чтобы идти в библиотеку искать произведения литературы, мы можем найти все в интернете. Человек узнает много нового и интересного в интернете. Но смотря как мы будем им пользоваться, такие благи он и будет нам приносить, ведь интернет позволяет быстро найти информацию. Но он отвлекает людей от истинных и нужных дел, и люди попадают под зависимость интернета, главное распределить свое время и не допустить, чтобы ваше драгоценное время уходило впустую.

My grandmother always says that all these "devil's things" hurt my eyes and damage my brains. After that she always gives different arguments trying to prove that "they" do more harm than good. Every time she ends her speech with the same words:"Our generation is much healthier because we didn't use them". But in my opinion it is impossible to live without such technical devices as computers nowadays. I can't imagine my life without my computer because of the Internet.

First, the Internet gives me an opportunity to communicate with the whole world. I sit down in front of the computer, switch it on and escape of everyday life problems. It is my world. There are many social networks where it is possible to communicate: Twitter, ICQ, My Circle, Face book, Skype and others. I can communicate with my relatives who live in Moscow. Not long ago they bought a new flat and with the help of Skype showed us their new furniture. 

Second, the Internet is the source of information for me. I am not a bookworm. And the Internet gives me information about plants, animals, fashion, historical persons and events. It expands my outlook and educates me.

Third, the Internet is the cheapest way of traveling. Traveling is a very important way to broaden our mind. But it is very expensive! The Internet gives me an opportunity to visit Great Britain, Canada, Australia and other countries. I can go to the British Museum and see the Roman Sculpture in the Room 83. I can go to London and see St Paul's Cathedral. Isn't it a fantasy?

In conclusion, I would like to say that the Internet has changed my life and lives of people who live in our village very much. It offeres us great opportunities and we must try to make the best use of it. Of course it may be dangerous. But isn't it dangerous to ride a car without any rules?

On the 11th of November there is Veteran’s Day. It is I dedicated to those who fell in the two World Wars.
Thanksgiving Day is on the fourth Thursday in November. In the autumn of 1621, the Pilgrim Fathers celebrated their first harvest festival in America and called it Thanksgiving Day. Since that time it has been celebrated every year.
Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December. People usually stay at home at Christmas time, and spend the day with their families.

Минусы: Не всегда достоверная информация, много нериличных развлечений, ненормативная лексика и т. Д.

I’m very brave and courageous person, but I have a few fears as well as other.

I am afraid of poisonous snakes, because their venom is deadly to humans.

I also do not like insects such as cockroaches, crickets, ants, because they are very small and ugly for me. When I was six I was afraid of the dark, but I overcame that fear in itself. Personally, I use the Internet to watch TV shows and to talk with their family and friends when we are far away from each other.
How could anyone not say the Internet is very useful. It is possible to self-development, learn the latest information and to read books by your favorite authors, listen to the popular music and even find a job
