It’s really hard to decide which sport is the most popular. I think it is either hockey or football. Both of them has millions of fans in our country. I guess, people like to watch it because you somehow can relate to the game. You should cheere team up, when they are on the field, and it makes you feel like you are part of the process of winning. As you know there was Olympic games in our country not long ago. And I discovered this sport called curling. Turned out it is really interesting to watch. At the beginning I could not understand, what the rules are. But after I’ve watched like three or four rounds, I saw, that this game is not only. sport, but also is very intellectual. You had to see how you stone would go beforehand, should know how much strength you need to put in this throw and stuff like that. My favorite sportman is Maria Sharapova. She is awesome tennis player. She had serious trauma couple of years ago, but she is really determinated that she wants to play. So she always tries to achieve her goals no matter what. I admire these qualities. I think for me it is tennis. I’ve benn practicing since I was 6. And pretty much all my family does play tennis. My mother is really excellent player. So when we go somewhere on vacations we always rent a tennis court there, so we could play everyday. I think I like tennis so much well because I’m good in it and it is like our family activity.

Russia is my native country. It is the largest country in the world. Its total area is over 17 millions square kilometres. The population of Russia is more then 143 million. The land of Russia varies greatly. We have thick forests and vast plains, high mountains and deep valleys. Russia is also rich in rivers and lakes. There are a lot of symbols. One of them is the Russian national flag. This flag is made up of 3 stripes: white, blue and red. These colours symbolize nobleness, honesty, courage and love.
We, people living in Russia, love our country and are proud of it. And we would like other nations to understand and love our homeland.

People are always wondering whether the country or the city is the ideal place to live. If there is one preference-which I take leave to make a conclusion-then it is the country rather than the city that provides people with optimal living conditions. There widespread testimonies for it and the primary ones are listed as follows. The foremost reason for dwelling in the countryside is the soothing and comfortable life provided by the pastoral view. Hardly anyone could resist the clean atmosphere, the friendly neighbors, the closeness to nature and the gentle pace of living. Those who have enjoyed the first cock crow in the morning, the twittering of birds in the tress and the breathtaking sight of the rising sun would go into rapture at only mere mention of the idyllic life. Relaxed and suburban dwellers are able to hold a more positive attitude for life and achieve more accomplishment. How satisfactory and refreshing it must be to have dinner together with your loved ones in the spacious and pastoral surroundings after a frustrating day! Furthermore, nothing can be compared with the joy of watching heart warming TV programs, playing convivial games and sleeping in the tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. On the contrary, it would be far more difficult to acquire such pleasure for those urbanites. Consecutive and excessive recreations not only thrift money but also deteriorate people"s health, which is the last thing one would like to encounter. Naturally, it is possibly to reckless to assert that nothing beneficial combines with city life since several accompanying merits also come along with it. Living in the metropolis means having more accesses to various people involved in multiple attractive cultures. Living in the metropolis also provides plentiful opportunities, both in career and studies. Nevertheless, the fact that city life makes it more convenient to purchase a job does not prevent us from concluding that country life is more enjoyable as well as healthful and placing a certain amount of reliance on the notion that country life is always the sensible choice.

The new school year starts. most of all i worry about my new subjects that i have got in this year and of course about my marks. I want to have good marks of course and i should be careful.
At first day in school i feel only hapiness, because of our long holidays we didn’t see each other. I’m glad to see my classmates again.
I like our school subjects and some teachers they are very kind and frendly and i like their sublects, because they speak very interesting.
And i have got dislikes about school, i don’t like to recieve bad marks, i’m worry about it and of course about control tests. I should spent more time on learning all about this subject.

Nowadays foreign languges are really very important. If a person can speak at least one of them, especially English, it will be easier for him to get a well-paid job, deal with documents written on a foreign language, travel etc. As for me, I study English, because I’m really interested in it. Learning new words, studying english grammar, reading books by my favorite authors in otiginal are my hobbies. Besides, as I’ve already said, the ability to speak English is really useful, if you want to visit other countries, as I do.

The biggest dream in my life is to visit the UK. I'd like to stay in countries such as England, Scotland and Wales. London is the capital of England and there are many sights such as the Thames, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, etc. Britain is an amazing country. It hasn't contact with the European mainland. Britain is an island in the sea. Previously believed, that Britain was the mightiest sea power. I think that now it's still the same. Of course, Britain is not the only great power. Do not forget about such powers as France, Russia and the United States, but the United Kingdom, on my opinion, is the best of all.

A lot of tourists come in Britain, as in many civilized countries. There are many cognitive museums and attractions in England. A lot of migrating people often come in the UK from all over Europe, because they can get a very good education there. There are the most famous universities such as Harvard University, Oxford and Liverpool universities.

But in each country there are pluses and minuses. Plus, for example, in Russia is that it's a huge parcel of land in the country, in the fact that people are always united and they have a Russian soul. But there are drawbacks. The downside is that mass unemployment goes in Russia. In Russia, more than in other countries alcohol is consumed. Similarly, this situation is in the UK. There are pluses and minuses. But despite this, my biggest dream in life remains the same, to go to the UK and possibly studying there.
