Being a chef is very good and interesting. The profession of a cook – at all times. People will always need food. Although everyone can cook myself, but sometimes you want to visit a cafe or restaurant, order a delicious and beautifully decorated dish, and just enjoy them sitting in a pleasant company. For most people choosing a career is not an easy task. It is one of the most important decisions one makes in life. The properly chosen career makes a person happy and successful for the rest of his life. There are several factors that influence the decision of young people to make their choice.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Irina Zubova. I’m a third-year student of Perm Financial Economic college, the brunch of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

I’d like to tell you about my future profession. Choosing a career is a very important matter. In my opinion, a job should be interesting and socially important. That is the reason why I have chosen the profession of a financier.

In Latin the word "finance" means "finishing", "ending" of money settlement between population and a state.

In the past the financiers considered to be very rich people, who had much money. Today the meaning of this word has changed.

Banking dictionary gives the following explanation: a "financier" is a specialist who manages big money operations on a legal base. He works in the field of markets, advertising, investments and real estate. His duties are to invest money successfully and make profit, to assess risks, to find the balance between income and possible risks.

The role of this profession for the society is very important. Finance in any country is a system of monetary relations leading to formation, distribution and use of money in the process of its turnover between economic entities. The financial system is the network of institutions through which firms, households and units of government get funds they need and put surplus funds to work.

A good financier must design different financial situations, analize them and come to a definite conclusion.

Young specialists who have just graduated from the universities and institutes can work as accountants, economist assistants, specialists of Planning departments at plants and factories.

It’s possible to make a good career at the plant and to become Financial Director.

Financial Director is a specialist who plays three roles. He is an accountant, an economist and a financier at the same time.

A good Financial Director must be very competent in marketing, taxation, tax planning, accounting, insurance and real estate management.

Financial department is closely connected with Accounting, planning, marketing Departments, investment companies and banks.

A financier can find a job in banks, insurance companies and Stocks. Financiers analyze situations at financial markets, make financial estimate and business planning.

A good financier must have special personal traits, for example strategic thinking, logic, the ability to think in a global scale, to analyze a lot of information. A financier must be resistant to the stress in different unexpected situations, well-organized, honest and reliable.

A financier must keep his knowledge up to date and maintain the highest standards of integrity, professional independence and confidentiality.

In the conclusion I’d like to say, that I like to be involved in financial matters. My favorite subjects are accounting and financial management. In the future I plan to make a good career in financial field, to be successful, well-protected and self-confident. I think I have all necessary traits for my future development. There is a saying: "If you do not think about the future, you do not have one." I / m absolutely sure that is true.

Most English people love gardens above all, and this is probably one reason why so many people prefer to live in houses rather than in flats.

In the suburbs you can see row after row of ordinary small houses. And each house is surrounded by lots of flowers.

Many people who have no gardens of their own have patches of land. They spend much leisure time working among their flowers, trees and vegetables.

The British take part in numerous flower-shows and vegetable shows with very good prizes. Such shows are very popular in Britain. To many gardeners the process of growing the plants and taking care of them seems more important than the pleasure of looking at the flowers or the prospect of eating vegetables. In many places a competitive gardener’s desire is to grow the biggest cabbages or leeks or carrots.

Future profession is a very important choice in
every human life. Sooner or later everybody
thinks about the profession. There are a lot of
interesting professions in the world and I’d love
to learn a few of them. It is very difficult to
make a choice once and not to make a mistake.
But desires don’t always coincide with
possibilities.
Sometimes we do not choose what we need:
some of us go to learn, where our friends learn,
others study profession chosen by their parents.
And only later a person realizes: “It’s not my cup
of tea”: soul does not lie to her. The person
making the choice must think not about how this
or that profession will be paid or if there is a
demand for it, and not about the tips of others.
You should certainly listen to the opinions of
adults, they never wish you bad, but it is the
choice of your own and it must be done
independently.
On the verge of leaving school we are often
asked what we want to be, where we proceed,
what we are going to do in future. Some answer
confidently what they want to link their lives
with, others respond less confident, still doubting
their choice. Not to suffer the wrong choice of
profession in the future, you need to treat it with
full responsibility and seriousness. But I still
believe that it is not necessary to doubt in your
choice, you need to act, to follow your heart’s
calling. Будущая профессия – это очень важный
выбор в жизни каждого человека. Рано или
поздно о профессии задумываются все. На
свете есть множество интересных профессий,
и я бы хотела выучиться на некоторые из них.
Сделать выбор сразу и не ошибиться очень
трудно. Но не всегда желания совпадают с
возможностями.
Иногда мы выбираем не то, что нам нужно:
некоторые из нас идут учиться туда, где
учатся наши друзья, другие учатся той
профессии, которую выбрали для них
родители. И только позже человек понимает,
что это не его профессия: не лежит к ней
душа. Человек, делающий выбор, должен
думать не о том, как будет оплачиваться та
или иная профессия, есть ли спрос на нее, и
не о том, что посоветуют тебе другие.
Конечно, следует прислушаться к мнению
взрослых, они никогда не пожелают плохого,
но это выбор каждого и его нужно сделать
самостоятельно.
На пороге выхода из школы нас часто
спрашивают, кем мы хотим быть, куда
поступим, чем мы собираемся заниматься в
будущем. Некоторые отвечают уверенно, с
чем они хотят связать свою жизнь, другие
отвечают менее уверенно, все еще
сомневаясь в своем выборе. Чтобы не
мучиться по поводу неправильного выбора
профессии в будущем, нужно отнестись к
этому со всей ответственностью и
серьезностью. Но я все же считаю, что не
нужно сомневаться в своем выборе, нужно
действовать, идти туда, куда тянет.
