С раннего детства эта профессия привлекает как мальчишек, так и девчонок своей героической романтикой, чему во многом способствуют художественная литература и кино. Так профессия полицейскийа представляется многим полной увлекательных приключений и захватывающих событий, тогда как на самом деле защита правопорядка требует ежедневного и подчас монотонного труда и рутинной работы. Впрочем, нельзя отрицать и наличия острых и подчас опасных моментов в жизни оперативной службы милиции. И это говорит о том, что желающий стать полицейскийом обязан находиться в отличной физической форме, быть решительным, отважным и осторожным. Тот, кто стоит на страже безопасности граждан, как говорится, на боевом фланге, должен быть необычайно выносливым и ответственным, поскольку от его четких и уверенных действий зачастую зависит не только порядок, но и жизнь граждан и товарищей по работе.

I Want to be a Businessman My father is working for an international company as a managing director. I have been several times at his office. I like it very much to be there. My father is very busy. He often comes late from work. But I can see that he likes his job. And he always finds the time to spend with me and mom. Sometimes he tells us about the difficult situations, which his company faces. It is so interesting to listen to him. It seems to me that you need to have a very creative mind to be a businessman. My father is a friendly person and he is easy to talk to. I respect my father and I want to become a businessman too. I think our country needs good businesspeople to strengthen its economy. After I finish school I’m going to enter the university and study marketing or management. I haven’t decided yet exactly what will I study. Manager deals mainly with people. It studies what is necessary to do that people worked better and were not offended. Marketing deals with market research and commercial activity in general. I still have time to think and choose. Я еще не решил точно, кем я буду. Менеджер, в основном, имеет дело с людьми. Он изучает, что нужно делать, чтобы люди работали лучше, и как их при этом не обидеть. Маркетинг — это исследование рыночного спроса и коммерческой деятельности вообще. У меня еще есть время подумать и выбрать. Я хочу стать фотографом. Это очень интересная и увлекательная профессия. Я люблю фотографировать пейзажи и животных. В объектив фотоаппарата открываются новые грани нашего мира. Когда я вырасту я открою свою собственную выставку. I want to become a photographer. This is very interesting and fascinating profession. I love to photograph landscapes and animals. In the camera lens opens up new facets of our world. When I grow up I started my own show.

When choosing a future career we should consider different factors. in my opinion, money isnt one of the most importaint factors when you make a choice. I think that our future is in our hands. And I want to connect my life with something useful and important for people. Thats why I want to be a surgeon because these people can help others. But this profession isn’t good for people who are afraid of blood, also this is very fearfully when somebody dies on your operation table. But it’s great when people can alive. And surgeons are very valuable in foreign countries. That’s why I like to study English and biology too.

There are many professions  in the world  such as a doctor, a driver, a nurse, a  teacher, a worker, a seller and others. But my dream is to be a book-keeper. I have wanted to be an accountant since my childhood.

I like this profession because my Granny is an accountant, but it is only the first reason. I have chosen this profession because I like Math very much and I think that it is very interesting, though it is difficult and responsible.

This profession is very popular now. Every firm even the smallest one needs an accountant.

I have to enter the University to master this profession. Next year I’ll leave school, pass my exams and try to enter the University. I’ll have to study well to become a good specialist. I think that I’ll earn much money if I work a lot.

Professional sport

Millions of people all over the world are into sport. Everybody chooses a kind of sport they like following their abilities and convictions. It gives people a real pleasure. It also gives a chance to acquire a lot of like-minded friends who are eager to be healthy and to increase fitness. Modern life is so hectic that sport helps people distract from daily problems and routine.

Everyday there can see on TV strong and outrageous people who represent their country in world competitions and take part in Olympic games. They are sure to be the best of the best. They can't imagine their lives without sport. For them life is daily hard training and competition. Undoubtedly professional sport educates a strong will, discipline, ability to overcome difficulties and mould a character. It helps to increase self-esteem and self-confidence. In contrast to amateur sport professional sport has the only goal that is to win. Athletes make incredible efforts despite tiredness and physical pain to become a champion and to prove to everyone and especially to themselves that they are the best. All the countrymen take pride of hearing the national anthem so professional sport develops the feeling of patriotism. It is certain to be beneficial to realise that you contribute to the development of your country.

On the other hand there are a lot of negative associations with professional sport. Everybody knows that professional athletes sacrifice a lot of things and life's true essentials to achieve their goals. Firstly, it is а shortage of normal family life because professional athletes devote themselves fully to trainings, competitions and sport achievements. Secondly, the cost of victories is broken friendship. As a rule in contrast to amateur sport there aren't friends in professional sport. There are only rivals. Moreover, the highest scores are associated with injuries, tiredness and health problems because the body can't withstand the constant high loads and intensive exercise. The last but not least, professional sport is a way to earn a lot of money. Athletes in the pursuit to win start taking illegal substances ruining their health and moral. Some recent shocking dope scandals have dissapointed real sport fans.

In conclusion I would like to say that professional sport is a choice of courageous people. We shouldn't seek for the easy way in life. "Life is a challenge. The lack of challenge is the lack of life." - one famous person said. I quite agree with this statement. Sport is a source of bright emotions, a way of moulding your character and overcoming difficulty and prejudice.

The profession of economist originated hundreds of years ago, when they started to exist basic economic concepts: the goods, the exchange of money. Over the past century as economist has changed and expanded.
Economist collects and analyzes data on production activities, then assesses how she is successful and, ultimately, prepares the proposals of the management on the improvement of the technology of production and labour.
Economists were and remain the most demanded professionals on the labour market.

Thet, s why I take preparety couses on English.

I know the proverb: Never do things by halves. I like this profession very much! I absolutely disagree with young girls who get married after school. That, s the way how to look at it. The life is long and you must be ready to everythihg. That is whyif you have a good profession you may overcome all difficultes.

My parents advise me to choose this profession because English language is popular in the world. I want to travel everywhere in the word. This is a very good and high paid job. I can work abroad and in foreign company. I can practice my language. This profession is very difficult. To comunicate with people in foreign language. A profession of an interpreter is popular and important in our days. I must work with people, learn traditions of foreign countries, foreign literature. I improve my English, reading English leterature, translating sentences from Russian into English, learning new words and expressions.

I go to my dream every day! I know the proveb:"No pains, no gains".

When I got older I will become a doctor. I’m close to this profession. I realized this when I was (how many years). I am hard-working. I think I should be a good doctor. But we must finish the training quite not long left.

For myself, I have already decided what profession you choose. I want to become a translator. I love meeting new people. I chose a profession allows me to communicate with people from different countries, to learn something new about themselves and life in their countries. I believe that having several languages can allow significantly improve the level of their knowledge. Using these skills, you can read the great works of foreign writers and poets in the original, because the translation is often lost meaning of the work, who wanted to convey to us by the author.

My favorite profession is the translator. I love this job and would like to become a translator herself. This is a very fun and rewarding profession. You can go and travel to various countries and cities, offering help to translate the dialogue of people.

One of the professions which are popular now is an economist. In order to be an economist you must graduate an university. The duty of economists is the  researching  how to allocate scarce resources. They can work on businesses and individuals or even governments and their economies. There are all kinds of careers for economists, from management consultant to investment analyst to sociologist. You will work in the office, almost all the time with a computer. You can start to work very early and finish work very late. It is a very responcible and difficult job I think.  But it is a well-paid job.
