The room of my dreams.

The room of my dreams is light, large and with big windows.

It is cozy and comfortable too. I think the room will make me happy, if the colour of the walls will be bright, maybe yellow, white or pink, but not gray, because this colour depresses me and it is boring. And I dont want to have red walls in me room because this colour is too much powerful for me and hinder me to rest.

Of course I dream about big room because big rooms make me feel freedom and i like this feeling. I want to have a furniture : the table, the cupboard and the bed, these are most important things in any room. I hope some time later I will create or buy a room like this.

My room.

First of all, I’d like to say, that my room isn’t really big but very comfortable. To the right behind the door there is a chest of drawers, next to it there’s a TVset. Opposite the door there’s a window. There are blue curtains on the window, blue, because it’s my favorite colour. There’s a desk and a chair under the window. There’s a computer on the desk. Above the desk there’s a clock. It’s yellow, then we bought it, my mother and I thought, that these two colours: blue and yellow, they will be a good combination. To the left of the door there’s a sofa and two bookboards. There’re a lot of books in it, because I’m fond of reading. My favorite style is fantasy. Above the sofa there’re many photoes of my family, friends. There’s a carpet on the floor. In the middle of the ceiling there is a blue chandelier. Finally, there is a big balcony. There I can spend really many time.

My room is small. It includes a large bed, side tables, a desk, a chair, a lamp and a wardrobe. There is also a bathroom in my room. Other 2rooms belong to children. My house includes a kitchen with a balcony. It is nice and bright. I like my room.

My room is not very big, but not so small. It is medium-sized. There is one big window with the view of the children’s playground, the shop and the bus stop. My room is very light. Under the window there is a wide windowsill with potted plants on it.

My room is decorated in light beige colour scheme. It features wooden furniture. The room is simple but very functional.

My room is divided into zones. There is a living area and a sleeping area. The sleeping area is located on a platform. There is a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe in this zone. There is a carpet on the floor. Next to my wardrobe there is a little shelf. This is the place where I keep all my awards and achievement certificates. At the moment there is only one medal and an honorary diploma. I go in for swimming and have won first place at a local schools’ competition.

The living area is located right opposite the sleeping area. There is a desk right by the window. I do my homework and study at the computer here. By the door on the left there is a huge soft bean bag and a small bookcase. I love reading and I read every day. Above the bean bag on the wall there is a world map. I love learning new things about different countries and dream that one day I will travel a lot.

My parents are going to give me a new modern stereo system as it is my birthday very soon. I will be able to listen to my favorite music. The stereo system will be located next to the bean bag. I already have a little table for it. I like my room very much. I like spending time here.

Жилая зона располагается прямо напротив спальной зоны. Возле окна стоит письменный стол. Здесь я выполняю домашнее задание и учусь за компьютером. Рядом с дверью, слева, стоит огромное мягкое кресло-мешок и небольшой книжный шкаф. Я очень люблю читать и каждый день читаю. Над креслом, на стене висит карта мира. Я люблю узнавать новое о других странах и мечтаю о том, что когда-нибудь смогу много путешествовать.

Мои родители собираются подарить мне новую современную стереосистему, так как совсем скоро у меня день рождения. Я смогу слушать свою любимую музыку. Стереосистема будет стоять возле кресла. У меня уже есть небольшой столик для нее. Мне очень нравится моя комната. Я люблю проводить здесь время.

We live in a new 16-storeyed block of flats. It’s situated in a very picturesque place. There’s a big supermarket on the ground floor and it’s very convenient to do everyday shopping.
Our flat is on the fifth floor. It’s very comfortable and well-planned. We have all modern conveniences, such as central heating, electricity, gas, cold and hot running water, and a telephone.
There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a hall in our flat. There’s also a balcony and we can enjoy a lovely view of the river.
The largest room in our flat is the living room, and we use it as a dining room, too. In the middle of the room there is a big table and six chairs around it. Opposite the window there is a wall unit with lots of books, a TV-set, and a DVD-player.
There are two comfortable armchairs and a small coffee table in the right-hand corner. There is also a sofa and an electric fire in our living room. We like our living room, so in the evenings we gather there to have tea, watch TV, talk, and rest.
Our kitchen is large and light. It is well-equipped. We have got a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave oven, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. We haven’t got a dishwasher yet, because it is very expensive. But I’m sure we shall buy it in the nearest future.
My favorite room is the smallest room in our flat, but it is very cosy and light. There is a bed, a wardrobe, a desk, an armchair, and several bookshelves here. There is a thick carpet on the floor.
The walls in my room are light brown and there are some big posters on them. I like my room very much, but from time to time I change it round. I quite often move the bed and change the posters on the wall.
