My favorite video film is “Titanic”. It tells the story of a famous ship, the “Titanic”, which sank in 1912. The “Titanic” was a colossal ship even by modern standards. Its tragic sinking will always be remembered, for the ship went down on the first voyage with heavy losses. The director of the film is James Cameron. The main parts in the film are played by young actors Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet. To my mind their acting is superb. The camerawork is fantastic, too. I’ve heard that they made a full-size model of the “Titanic” for this film. It’s a very spectacular film. It is also a moving love-story. I advise all my friends to see “Titanic”. The film was awarded 11 Oscars and I’m sure it deserves every one of them. Перевод: Мой самый любимый фильм - "Титаник". Режиссер фильма - Джеймс Кэмерон. Главные роли в фильме играют молодые актеры Леонардо ди Каприо и Кейт Уинслет. На мой взгляд, их актерская игра превосходна. Операторская работа является фантастической, тоже. Я слышал, что они сделали для этого фильма модель "Титаника" в натуральную величину.
Это очень впечатляющий фильм. Кроме того, это трогательная история любви. Я советую всем моим друзьям, посмотреть "Титаник". Фильм был удостоен 11 Оскаров, и я уверен, что он заслуживает каждого  из них.

Мой любимый предмет – география
. Где еще узнаешь столько интересного о природе родного края и уникальности целой планеты.  Все начинается с природоведения в начальной школе. Шаг за шагом первоклашки изучают свою страну. Они начинают испытывать чувство гордости за Родину. Все вызывает в них восторг: черноземы, богатые хлебами; моря, реки и озера, полные рыбы; луга, колышущиеся сочными травами; леса, урожайные грибами, ягодами и наполненные разнообразием видов птиц и зверей; горы, рассекающие своими белоснежными вершинами синеву неба.  Начиная осваивать географию, изучаешь недра земли и глубины океанов. Сколько же всего полезного дает нам наша планета! Земля богата уникальнейшими природными ресурсами, которые дают нам жизнь. Все, что мы имеем на сегодняшний день – газ, нефть, уголь, другие ценные металлы и породы – делает наш быт комфортным и приятным. Легкая промышленность нас обувает, одевает и кормит. Тяжелая – дает жилье, транспорт, защиту границ.  
My favorite subject - geography. Where else can you learn so many interesting things about the nature of his native land and the uniqueness of the whole planet. It all begins with natural history in elementary school. Step by step, first-graders are studying their country. They begin to feel a sense of pride in their homeland. All causes delight in them : black soil, rich breads, sea, rivers and lakes full of fish, meadows, swaying succulent grasses, forests, harvest mushrooms, berries and filled with a variety of species of birds and animals, mountains, dissecting its white tops blue sky. Starting to learn geography, studying bowels of the earth and the depths of the oceans. How much of useful gives us our planet ! A land rich in unique natural resources that give us life. All that we have today - gas, oil, coal, metals and other valuable species - makes our life comfortable and enjoyable. Light industry have shoes, clothes and feeds. Heavy - gives shelter, transportation, border protection.

My favorite day is Saturday.  I like it because I usually don’t do my homework on this day.  I do it on Sunday. I like to think that I have one more day to do different important things. However I help my mother about the house in the morning.   In the afternoon I usually go for a walk with my friends on Saturday.  Or we sometimes go to the cinema.  If the weather is bad, I prefer to stay at home.  I listen to my favorite music or watch films on TV.  Sometimes I just don’t do anything - I just lie in bed and dream.  Saturday is also nice because you always know that there is one more day-off after it. 

My favorite  character is Cinderella.  She is very kind and a good-looking girl. She has two sisters and a stepmother, who don't love her and  treat her horribly. One day   Cinderella receives an invitation to a ball. But Cinderella has nothing to wear. Her Fairy Godmother gives her a wonderful dress and shoes. Cinderella arrives at the castle and meets Prince there. They dance and talk,  and the Prince falls in love with her, but soon Cinderella has to run away. On her way home she loses one of her shoes. The Prince wants to find Cinderella and marry her.  Soon he finds her and they are happy.  
Мой любимый персонаж  Золушка. Она очень добрая и красивая девушка. У нее две сестры и мачеха, которые не любят ее и относиться к ней ужасно. Однажды Золушка получает приглашение на бал. Но Золушке нечего одеть. Ее фея-крестная дарит ей великолепное платье и туфли. Золушка приезжает в замок и встречает там принца. Они танцуют и разговаривают и Принц влюбляется в нее, но вскоре Золушка вынуждена бежать. По дороге домой она теряет одну из своих туфелек. Принц хочет найти Золушку и жениться на ней. Вскоре он находит ее, и они счастливы.

   My favorite recipe is borsh. It’s the national Ukrain soup. I love it. And I eat this every 2 days. I can’t cook it by myself, but my mom always cook it for me. The main ingridient is beet. That’s why borsh has red colour. And I also eat it with a sour cream. Sometimes I take a bread, make a sandwich (this time by myself) and eat it with borsh.
   Many people think that this is russian dish. But it is not. It takes its history from 12-th century. And it is more slavic. But I think ukranians made it firstly.

My Favourite Literary Hero
"Pygmalion" is one of B. Shaw’s best comedies and one of my favorite ones.
The principal characters of the play are Eliza Doolitle and Henry Higgins. Eliza, a girl of eighteen, makes her living by selling flowers in the streets of London. She comes from the lowest social strata and speaks with a strong Cockney accent, which is considered to be the most uncultured English.
Bernard Shaw knew the common fate of those who were born in poverty. The Cockney English spoken in the East End of London was like a brand on a person’s reputation. People would not be taken on to work at a respectable place; yet no one taught people free of charge, the common people had no chance to learn.
Henry Higgins is a professor of phonetics. One day in the street, he says to his friend Colonel Pickering that he could pass off Eliza as a duchess. Eliza hears this conversation and the next day she goes straight to the professor’s house and insists on being taught. Higgins bets Pickering that he will pass her off as a duchess in six months.
The character of Eliza shows how much strength and talent lies undeveloped inside the common people. Eliza is a precious material for a new creation. The play reveals how Eliza struggles to rise to a higher cultural level.
Higgins does his best at the girl’s manners and pronunciation, and finally, before six months are over, she is well prepared to be introduced into a society. Higgins and Pickering take her to the party and the opera. Everything goes well. Higgins wins his bet.
But what is to become of Eliza when the game is over? She knows that the professor is sure to take up some new work in the morning and forget about her. She cannot go back to selling flowers in the street. She has acquired some knowledge, and she wants to do useful work. She wants independence and her share of human kindness. Higgins understands the way she feels. He even feels guilty.
Higgins and Eliza remain friends, but the play is without ending. Shaw, the realist, saw that in England of his days there would be nothing for Eliza to do except to open a flower shop and to marry Freddy Eynsford who had been in love with her.

Usually I watch television at home and in my spare time. First I have to make my homework and all the stuff like that. Then if I want to spend my time like this, I go my gain.
I spend more time next to my laptop. Actually I prefer or laptop, or phone- I’m not sure. The choice is quite difficult. But laptop is more heavy then a phone, so phone is easier to take away. But I need computer for homework- then I use programs like word or excel. And of course I do it or at school, or at home, not somewhere down the street- that’s weird.
But if I watch television I prefer to watch Comedy Central. My favorite Tv program is "friends" or "family guy". Family guy is way too funny, and friends too. And when I watch it I can have lots of different emotions. And I think" these are the friendship goals ". I spend not too much time watching television because I am way too busy with house- or homework. So I think television doesn’t harm me that much

Мое любимое место на земле - наша дача. Я всегда представляю нашу дачу зеленой, веселой и летней. Даже зимой, когда я мечтаю поехать на дачу, мне все время кажется, что наша дача зеленая.  
На нашей даче очень хорошо, и, самое главное, интересно, у нас на даче есть чердак и сеновал. На чердаке мы играем в вертолет, а на сеновале - в корабль. У нас на сеновале много сена, и мы из него строим каюты. У нас на даче есть печка, и когда ее топят, мы всегда смотрим. Спорим: какая деревяшка быстрее сгорит.  
На нашей даче очень весело, и так весело нам только на даче. Поэтому-то это и есть мое любимое место на земле.

Я прочитал много много разных сказок. Больше всего мне понравилась сказка "Кот в сапогах" и её главный герой-Кот в сапогах. У него хорошие манеры, он верно служит хозяину, он мудрый, хитрый, умный. Ещё он любит роботу-он трудолюбивый. Его хозяина звали "Маркиз Карабас", это имя ему дал сам кот. Я бы хотел быть таким, как  кот : мудрым, хитрым, отважным и трудолюбивым.
