I am completely keen on reading. I try to read every day at least a few pages. I like fantasy stories and some adventurous stories. And there is a story of that kind I am eager to read over and over again. Its name is “Harry Potter.”
The story was written by a popular British writer J. K. Rowling. And it tells us about a little boy Harry who lives in a family of his aunt. One day he finds out that he is a wizard and should go to study to a school of magic — Hogwarts. And that’s where the story begins.
In the following 7 parts we get to know what a great wizard Harry is. He meets new friends, studies, does sport and conquer the most evil magician in the world. These books teach how to be friendly, loyal and strong. They show us how to face difficulties and how important a family and friends are.
I love this book for all of this. I have already read it a few times. And I know that I will definitely read it once again.

Историческая повесть “Тарас Бульба” мне очень нравится. Она рассказывает о прошлом нашей страны. Я люблю читать о тех героических временах, когда складывалась русская государственность. И характеры у людей в то время были особенные, самоотверженные, целеустремленные.
Мужчины занимались ратными подвигами. Не было важнее цели, чем отстоять свободу и независимость страны. Гоголь показывает в своей повести замечательных героев: Тараса Бульбу, Остапа, их товарищей по оружию.
Мне очень нравится главный герой повести — Тарас Бульба. Он сильный, смелый, решительный воин и отец. Честно выполняя свой долг, Тарас Бульба громит польских захватчиков. Но ему выпадает на долю великое испытание. Его младший сын Андрий — предатель. И Тарас находит в себе силы казнить изменника. Видят его старые глаза и гибель сына-героя Остапа. Что остается ему — умереть за родину, это и делает полковник. Он не просто гибнет, а спасает своих товарищей. Не думая о себе, о том, что огонь уже лижет его ноги, Тарас кричит, помогая соратникам уйти от преследователей. Да, он погиб мученической смертью, но не сгинул его отряд, который будет бить врагов до победы.

I chose this book because it has everything that I like is a Russian nature, and valor of the Russian people, and his argument about what should be the man and his actions. My favorite book is " Harry Potter." This book describes the adventures of Harry Potter. As a child he did not know who he was, did not understand the power and purpose of his magic. But he was sent to the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry - Hogwarts to learn to use his gift to the destination. At school he gained friends who helped him to overcome the difficulties to fight against the dark forces. The book is full of exciting adventures, mysterious stories. In the struggle against the main enemy, Voldemort Harry always comes out the winner, because he dared to be strong, smart and kind. I really like this book.

My favorite book is "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe. D. Defoe (1660—1731) was a great master of realistic detail. The novel "Robinson Crusoe" was written in 1719. The novel is praise to human labour and the triumph of man over nature.
Defoe shows the development of his hero. At the beginning of the story we see an inexperienced youth, a rather frivolous boy, who then becomes a strong-willed man.
Robinson Crusoe’s most characteristic trait is his optimism. His guiding principle in life become "never say die" and "in trouble to be troubled is to have your troubles doubled".
He had confidence in himself and in man. He believed it was within the power of man to overcome all difficulties. Crusoe was an enthusiastic worker and always hoped for the best.
Defoe is a writer of the Enlightenment. He teaches people how to live, he tries to teach what’s good and what’s bad. His novel "Robinson Crusoe" is not only a work of fiction, an account of adventures, a biography and an educational pamphlet.
It is a study of man, a great work showing man in relation to nature and civilization as well as in relation to labour and private property.

Моя любимая книга — "Робинзон Крузо", написанная Даниэлем Дефо. Д. Дефо (1660 — 1731) был великим мастером реализма. Роман "Робинзон Крузо" был написан в 1719 году. Роман — хвала человеку труда и торжеству человека над природой.
Дефо показывает развитие своего героя. В начале повествования мы видим неопытного юношу, довольно легкомысленного парня, который затем становится мужчиной с сильным характером.
Наиболее характерной чертой характера Робинзона Крузо является его оптимизм. Ведущий принцип его жизни — "никогда не думать о гибели" и "беспокоиться в беде — означает, что твоя беда удваивается".
Он уверен в себе и в человеке. Он верит, что во власти человека преодолеть трудности. Крузо был энтузиастом-трудягой и всегда надеялся на лучшее.
Дефо — писатель эпохи Просвещения. Он учит людей как жить, он старается научить тому, что такое хорошо и что такое плохо. Его роман "Робинзон Крузо" — это не только художественное произведение, описание приключений, биография и поучительная книга.

В этой книге описан образ жизни и забавные традиции многих мифических народов: эльфов, гномов и хоббитов. Например, веселый народец, с крупными мохнатыми ногами и маленьким ростом, живет в небольших, но таких уютных домиках, не зная бедности и горя, потому что у каждого имеется свое хозяйство, а называют их хоббитами. Неуловимые, ловкие и утонченные эльфы живут в лесах, строя свои прекрасные дома на деревьях, или в горах, где найти их не так-то и просто. Трудолюбивые и богатые гномы нашли обиталище в горах, добывая там драгоценные камни и мастеря диковинные вещи: способные сразить дракона мечи или защитить от острого копья кольчуги.
Живут в этом сказочном мире и обычные люди, которые мирно сосуществуют со всеми необычными народами и правят в великих городах. Но вскоре в волшебном мире наступает такой день, когда всем, прежде редко контактирующим друг с другом народам, приходится объединиться для совместной битвы со злым властелином, желающим захватить весь мир.
Тут-то и начинаются захватывающие и надолго запоминающиеся приключения главных героев книги, маленьких, но очень отважных хоббитов, которые смогли найти много настоящих и верных друзей, союзников и спасти весь сказочный мир от исчезновения.
Читая эту книгу, невольно начинаешь ощущать себя главным героем, прошедшим через много чего хорошего и плохого, увидевшим бесчисленное количество прекрасных мест и познакомившимся с удивительными эльфами и гномами, о которых ранее доводилось лишь в книжках читать. А такое путешествие, пусть, даже если оно произошло с тобой во время чтения книги, не забывается никогда!

Elusive, deft and subtle elves live in the forest, building their beautiful home on the trees, or in the mountains, where to find them is not so easy. The industrious and wealthy dwarves found dwelling in the mountains, where mining of precious stones and master the strange thing: the ability to slay the dragon swords or spears to protect against acute mail.They live in this fairy-tale world and ordinary people who peacefully coexist with all the unusual people and rule in the great cities. But soon there comes a day in a magical world where everyone, especially rarely in contact with each other peoples, we have to come together to battle with the evil ruler wishing to take over the world. And then begin an exciting and memorable adventure for a long time the main heroes of the book, the small, but very brave hobbits, who were able to find a lot of real and true friends, allies, and save the fairytale world from extinction. Reading this book, unwittingly begins to feel like the main character, which has passed through a lot of things good and bad, when they saw the countless beautiful places and meet wonderful elves and dwarves, which previously only ever read in books. And this trip, let, even if it happened to you while reading a book, never forgotten!
