Now, a party of thirty boys and girls will start from our school to the lake in the coming XMas holidays. Our science teacher will guide this excursion party. Each of the boys will have to pay Rs. 300. I have got it permitted by our Principal that you will join our party if you come. That last day for submitting the money is 25th December. Because we will have to start on the new year. But if you come on 31st December you will be allowed to pay the money on that day. Our Principal has told me like that.

Earthquake is one of the natural calamities. For many centuries man didn’t know why earthquakes occur and how they occur and to what extent they would damage. I have seen many TV-programmes about the earthquakes and now I can say that they are really dangerous. They may occur in any part of the world at any time. So I think that everyone can see and feel it by himself. As for me, I have never seen the earthquake with my own eyes, and I don’t want to. Small earthquakes don’t cause severe damage. But those which are of severe intensity are really dangerous. So I don’t want to meet with it in real life no matter how dangerous it can be or not.
