There are also two balconies and a terrace in my house. The windows are in the shape of arches. Through them you can see a wonderful landscape. There are lots of trees and flowers around the house. And you can walk in the shade of these trees listening to the birds singing. As you come through the front door, you find yourself in a large hall with an open fireplace. One of the doors leads to the living room. This room faces the south, so it’s very sunny and has a lovely view of the whole valley. In the middle of this room there’s a thick Persian carpet. There are few units of furniture in this room. On the left there’s a leather sofa and small table nearby, on the right you can see home cinema and satellite receiver. There are two armchairs in the corner of this room. In the living room we spend our evenings chatting with each other, children play with a kitten. Then a wide staircase takes you to the first floor where there are four bedrooms. My children’s rooms are really vast. The wallpapers are very colourful in bright shapes. Also there are lots of toys to play with. In the basement there is a big garage for our cars. We have got two cars: one for me and one for my wife. Behind the house there is a swimming pool, covered with glass. There are some plastic armchairs around the swimming pool. Our house looks peaceful and calm and the calmest room is my study. Next door to the study there is our library. It is a huge room with thousands books on history, astronomy, physics, science fictions, fantasy, poetry, etc. Someone might think that it is an antagonism, because everything we want to read we can receive via Internet, but I like real books, to handle them in my hands, to read them page by page. As for my children, they prefer associating with their friends. We have many different electrical appliances in our house. They make our life more comfortable. Also we have some robots to help us. Our house is a beautiful place at any time of the year. In winter it’s warm and cozy, in summer there is so much to do outside.

Это может быть в России, или где-то еще, но идеальное место моей мечты должно располагаться совсем рядом с морем. Я очень люблю плавать, поэтому я хотел бы приходить на море тогда, когда захочу и плавать, сколько захочется. Это может показаться странным, но мне этого очень хочется. Возможно, на такой выбор влияет то, что лето в том месте, где я живу совсем короткое, и купальный сезон еще короче, потому что вода не успевает, как следует прогреться.
Когда я представляю место, где хотел бы жить, мне представляется, что оно очень спокойное, это такое место, где не очень много людей, скорее всего это небольшой прибрежный город, где есть бухты, в которых можно ловить рыбу и загорать. Мне представляется, что у меня не очень много соседей, но все мы хорошо знакомы и дружелюбно общаемся. Иногда мы собираемся вместе вечером, чтобы выпить чашечку чая и немного поболтать. В месте, где я хотел бы жить, не должно быть много туристов. Я конечно понимаю, что если место хорошее и удобное для отдыха, там всегда будет много туристов, особенно в туристический сезон. Но, если взять во внимание, что я описываю место, где мне хотелось бы жить, а не реально существующие, я бы не хотел видеть там толпы туристов, ни в городе, ни на пляже.
Скорее всего, такого места не существует, но мне хотелось бы верить, что оно все же есть. Кроме того, я бы хотел добавить, что там есть для меня работа. Не важно, что это будет за работа. For example, high level of air pollution, rush hours in the subway, heavy traffic, etc. But all in all I would like to live in a large city till I’m old. When I’m a pensioner, I will move to a remote place at the oceanfront, where I will grow plants, read newspapers, do morning exercises, listen to classical music and simply rest in the hammock. Sometimes I will drive to the city to see my old friends and then get back to my paradise again.
