My last journey on the train.
This summer my family and I travelled to the South by train.  We returned home by train too.  It was a wonderful journey.  First of all the train was new and big.  There were four people in the compartment: my mother, my father, my grandmother and I. My farther and I took upper berths.  The ladies took  the lower berths.  When the train started, an attendant came.  He asked if we  were  satisfied with everything.  We really were.  Then he brought us some tea.  We had tea with sweets and watched a nice view through the window.  In an hour our train stopped at a small station.  We spent time on the plafrom and bought some flowers from an old lady.  We also bought some  apples from an old man.  Then our journey continued.  In the afternoon we went to the dining-car where we had a nice dinner.  When we returned to our compartment,  we  decided to read a little.  I read a nice adventure story.  The others read magazines.  Some time later I went out of the train because we reached another station.  This time I bought some ice-cream and cake.  When the train started again, we began packing our things.  In two hours we got to our station.  I was glad to come back  my home town.  I said good-bye to all the people we had met on the train and the attendant.  So it was my last journey on the train this year.  I hope to have a nice journey next year too.

I in the year one wanted to visit abroad, but as usual, either time, either money or bravery, was not enough. My English, as me it always seemed to after completion of faculty of foreign languages, was at high enough level. And somehow on eyes announcement of firm placing in a job abroad met me. Long doubting and persuading all conceivable and unthinkable friends, I decided at last. The program "Work and Study in UK" coming me. I was necessary to visit the courses of English (although I am a find no the sense herein, because my confidence in English was steadfast) to work, making money. After collection of documents, payment of services, I already in anything did not doubt - too much it was spent forces. I must conquer London. I wish I were in London now. If I were there I would organize an excursion and would give you a good idea about this wonderful city. As we know, London is the capital of Great Britain and one of the largest industrial and cultural centers in Europe. The best starting point for all the excursions is well known Trafalgar square with Nelson’s Column in the center. The square was named to commemorate the victory of British vice-admiral Nelson at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and the Column is surmounted with his statue. I have managed to see this monument and it has made a great impression on me. No doubt that in London there are many other sights – Tate Gallery, City, Hyde Park and others, and everyone will find a preference according to his taste. You should only remember that in this city you will get fresh impressions, take great delight in viewing monuments and discover the history of England. I think it necessary that every person should visit London!

1 I love the weekend. In the day can be a long sleep. And then a whole day to walk, watch TV, play computer. 2. Last weekend I played football. Went to the movies, doing homework. Поехала я когда-то в Грецию, на остров Сантарини со своей семьёй: мамой, папой и сестрой. Мы разделились: сестра пошла с папой, а я с мамой. Они решили побродить по местным лавкам, а мы пошли вниз, чтобы покататься на ослах. Мы спустились и на нас, в прямом смысле этого слова, накинулось стадо осликов. Они побежали за нами, а мы ринулись прочь. Ослов было так много, что я не видела за ними ничего. Мы не только заблудились, но и наша одежда была испачкана. К тому же, солнце светило в глаза, а жара была под сорок. В конце концов, сестра и папа нашли нас через пол часа. Они успели купить много сувениров, а нам пришлось тщательно стирать дома одежду!

I originally booked a hostel called “England Backbackers Inn” and upon arrival I presented my documents relating to my booking and was then aggressively told that I would be staying in “Hong Kong Lucky Hostel” when I asked a member of staff why I was being moved to a new hostel the employee just started shouting in an aggressive manner telling me that I was going to a better hostel and I shouldn’t complain. 
After carrying my own bags down 3 flights of stairs we arrived at the Hong Kong Lucky Hostel and I was shown to my very small room, I then informed the staff member that the room I originally booked at England Backbackers Inn displayed rooms with a double bed and nice décor but what I was looking at was a hospital bed, barred window, broken fan and a all-in-one shower over toilet 2ft high basin pod. The staff member walked away and then after 5 minutes came back with another man that choose not to introduce himself and both just started shouting at me telling me I was a trouble maker and that no other person had companied EVER.
I advised the two gentlemen that I would be complaining to the company that I booked the hostel through and that I would be writing a review on tripadvisor and there reply was “so what” and “I don’t care do what you want” …… the conversation became so heated and the men so aggressive that I said I would speak only with the Owner and then tried to shut my room door on the arrogant aggressive young men.
After several requests that the Owner speak with me regarding my complaints and absolutely no reply I simply gave up, I had paid for 5 nights in full and the company that I booked through where of no assistance at all.
I had complained of dirty towels, broken fan, broken telephone socket, staff shouting on the mobiles at 3am and so on but none of the complaints were dealt with and just both myself and the staff keep away from one another.
Easily the worst travelling experience of my life.

Я Жевняк Даша, учусь в гимназии г. Хоники, в 7 "А" классе, учусь я отлично. Любимый придмет в школе у меня русский язык, учиться я люблю, но некоторые предмты для меня скучны, например химия. Учителя у нас хороший, правда часто ругаются.
Семья моя состоит из 4 челове я, папа-Сергей. Работающий в милиции. Мама- Наташа, учитель младгих классов, и мой мелкий брат Ваня.
У меня много хобби: я люблю ппеть, рисовать, танцевать, читать, катться на роликах, слушать музыку, кстати я слушаю классику, реп  и рок! У меня много любимых исполнителей!
Я люблю плавать, когда ты ппогружаешься в воду, кажется, что ты можешь всё, что ты можешь плыть и плыть, и в голове все мысли даже утихаю. Плаванье-это хороший сапособ раслабиться!
Я люблю путишествовать, например в этом году я была в Риге, это очень красивый город, там я побывала в бассейне, в парках, у моря.
Я очень общительный человек, у меня много друзей, но лучшими я считаю Таню и Дашу, они всегда готовы прийти на помощь Парня у меня нет, хотя мне нравится один мальчик. У нас взаимная симпатия.
А теперь расскажи о себе.

London is also one of the most important cities in the world. It is a centre for business and tourism.

There are many exciting things to do in London. The city has got some of the best theatres and museums in the world. There are a lot of places to go at night. it is a fun city!

The Romans came to Britain in AD 43. They built a town on the River Thames. They called the town Londinium.

Soon, they built a bridge over the river. Londinium grew bigger. Ships came to the town from all over Europe.

The Romans built roads from Londinium to other parts of Britian. By the year 400, there were fifty thousand people living in the sity.

Over seven million people live and work in london.

There are many exciting things to do in London. the city has got some of the best theatres and museums in the world. There are a lot of places to go at night. It is a fun city.

In London you are never far from the River Thames. many tourists go on bout trips from Tower Bridge to Westminster.

Another good boat trip is to Greenwich. In Greenwich you can visit The Old Royal Observatory. The boat passes a lot of famous buildings.

Westminster Abbey is one of the most famous churches in London. It is very near to the Houses of Parliament. The Abbey is more than nine hundred years old. In 1953, Queen Elizabeth 2 was crowned there.

Another great London church is St Paul*s Cathedral. It was built by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of 1666. From the top there is a good view of the City of London. You can visit the cathedral by walking across The Millennium Bridge, from the South Bank.
