I usually help at home. I help my parents to do everything around the house, for example, to vacuum, to wipe the dust and to wash dishes. I sometimes take a dog for a walk. I like to help my sister to do homework too. I have a wonderful family and its a great pleasure to help them.

I usually help my mom wash the dishes. I help my dad to repair the car. I often clean our houses and throw garbage in the evenings. I Sometimes I cook, when my parents come home from work late.

We have a nice house. This is a picture of our house. You can see it is not very big. There are four rooms in our house: a living-room, a dining-room and two bedrooms, and a kitchen.
The door of the house is shut. You can see three large windows of the living-room. The windows are open. You cannot see the kitchen windows. The kitchen is behind the living-room.
In front of the house there is a small garden with flowers in it. There is a garden behind the house too. You can see flowers and trees in the garden.

                             My pet
 I have got a pet. It is a kitten. His name is Timosha. He lives in the flat. He is grey. He’s got small paws and a  long tail. His  eyes are big and green. Timosha  is very nice, smart and funny. He likes to play with his  toys very much. He can play all day long. Although he is   little, he eats a lot! He likes to eat meat, fish, sausage, ham. I spend a lot of time with my Timosha. I love him very much!

What is a house for the elderly people? Some of us think that it is a hotel for older people where breakfasts - lunches and dinners are prepared for everybody. Other people believe that it is an ordinary hospital, where older people live all the time. In such places there are health care workers who take care for elderly people and help them in everything. I think it’s not good to leave one’s close people to live in such houses. Of course, if a man is alone, and there is  no one who can help him, then to live in these institutions, it is very useful. For the rest older people their children and grandchildren should take care of them. I will never give my grandparents in a nursing home.

В таких заведениях есть медицинские работники, которые ухаживают за пожилыми людьми и помогают им во всем. Я думаю, что это не очень хорошо оставлять своих близких людей проживать в таких домах. Конечно, если человек одинок, и нет никого, кто может ему помочь, то жить в этих заведениях для него очень полезно. За остальными пожилыми людьми должны ухаживать дети и внуки.  Can we imagine how robots will be like in the future? In my opinion, then all pepole will have special home robots. I believe that they will do homework. Then parents will do less homework and they will have more time for communication with their children.

 I think that home robots will be small and pretty. Thy will not have many bottons and will be simply in running. Even children will be able to run them.

 If I had home robot, I would not do any homework, such as ironing, washing, cleaning the house, dusting and so on. But then I would cooking, because I love doing this very much. Moreover, in my opinion robots will not be able to cook such tasty, like people.

One dark winter night. I was alone in an old house. It was a long way from other houses, and there was no telephone. At first I wasn’t afraid, because I don’t believe in ghosts. But at midnight I heard a sudden noise.

It was like a very strong cat’s scratch. At the beginning it wasn’t very annoying but eventually it started to be louder and louder. I could’nt understand anything: neither where the source of the noise was located nor what could it be. Some minutes later it stopped. I sighed with relief and continued working.

But at the midnight a noise could be heard again. Then I was really scared. I took a small flashlight and stepped out my room. Oh God, why didn’t I stay in a warm safe room? In the mirror ehind me I saw a ghost of a young tall woman. She was wearing green dress and her face was too sad even for a ghost. She disappeared without saying anything, but I can take an oath that she was singing a sorry song in a quiet voice.

This song has been haunting me from that night. It was a ballad written by Ann Boleyn, the queen of England beheaded in 1536. Her greensleeves, sung by Henry The Eight, are still in my memory.

And the house I stayed was the patrimony of Boleyns, called Heever Castle. It was built many   centuries ago, even before Ann Boleyn’s grandfather got it. And her "guiltless ghost" still appears in the place of birth.

I have recently got a nice present for my birthday. Guess what it? It’s a parrot. His name is Kesha. In general parrots are very smart and interesting birds. They are usually bright in colour. It’s fun to watch them. Some of the parrots can talk. Parrots usually feed on seeds, nuts, grain, berries and soft fruit. My parrot can eat all this and also some other food. My parrot likes to look at the mirror at itself. I love to play with Kesha, especially when he flies around the room. I love my pet! And he loves me, too.
