London is a large city situated in the southeastern part of England, standing on the river Thames. This city is a capital of the United Kingdom. The population of London is more than eight million people. London is considered as the largest city not only of the United Kingdom but also in western part of Europe. London is one of the largest financial centers of the world.
Romans founded this city in AD 34, they called it Londinium. This word later was shortened to what we have now – London. The capital of the United Kingdom has different names in different languages of the countries composing Great Britain — in Irish Londain, in Welsh Llundain, in Scottish Lunnainn.
London was a small city for a very long time. Romans built walls muring the city and all the citizens lived inside these walls. Now this area is called the City of London. But around the city there were many little villages which population increased gradually. After some time (when the Romans left) all these villages were joined into one huge city which is known now as Greater London or just London. In twelfth century London became the capital of England.
In spite of the fact today’s London has many immigrants, most people in this city are British. Immigrants came to London from different countries all over the world, they brought not only their languages but also their cultures and religions. Many foreigners stay in London on business, others visit London as tourists. London offers a lot of sights to see. The most visited are the famous Sights of London which include churches, palaces and museums.
London is considered as one of the most important cities of the world for finance, business and politics. The capital of Great Britain is also important for entertainment, culture, media, art and fashion.

Лондон считается одним из наиболее крупных городов не только Великобритании, но также и Западной Европы. Столица Великобритании – один из наиболее крупных финансовых центров мира.
Римляне основали этот город в 34 году до нашей эры, они назвали его Лондиниум. Позже это слово сократилось до того названия, которое имеем сейчас – Лондон. Last summer I was in London. First of all, I was struck by its beauty. Numerous number of parks, sights, restaurants, shops. London is so divers. There is a mix of European, Chinese and American in one city. The practice of English is easier, because you can talk in it even in shops, cafés, cinemas, museums. Also most of museums are free. The best time for visiting London is definitely summer. The weather is good and you can spend all day just walking. Most of people are very kind and friendly. You can meet people all over the world and make friends. Currency of England is sterling, so some products and things may be quite expensive. But I recommend to buy only things that will remind you about London. Also, you can travel in London by bicycle. It is cheap enough and you can observe whole city. Hope you will like London

Hello my friend ! I like outdoor recreation with my famaly. And we love hiking. All of our hike happens really interesting ! We can go to moutain every week and make a picnic. Also we engage in active sport, as badminton, voleball, and others.

Hi Jimmy, today I am going to tell you about one tradition of my family. We go tj the picnic every sunday. Usually each of family member is reasonable for any work. For example, mum cook tasty dishes for a picnic, my brother look for the music, which we will listen to, and I choose a place. Then we sit on the blanket, enjoy nature, and talk tj each other. The picnic is a beautiful idea, if you need to relax after a busy week.

My family is big. We are; my mum, dad, elder brother, our dog Trix and I. We are very friendly and loving. My mum is a housewife, she prefer to stay at home, cook tasty things, water flowers and take care of the garden. My elder brother is in army now, he writes us letters, so we know, he is OK. I’m a student in college and I like my future profession, I’ll be a manager. Our dog lives with us for 10 years and we love him very much.

I want to tel you about my mother. My mother is king, loving, affectionate and caring. She can give me a piece of advice and help at any time. It feels cosy and corbial next to her. My mother is a good housewife.

Моя семья очень веселая, мы любим проводить время вместе. У нас даже  есть семейное хобби, мы любим играть в боулинг. Но не всегда нам удается побыть в кругу семьи. Я люблю своих друзей и родителей!   My family is very fun, we love spending time together. We even have a family hobby, we love to play bouling. But not always we are able to stay in the family. Mom and dad are working and I’m home alone. When I’m sad, I go for a walk with your best friends. Most importantly, they trust me, tell the truth and always support the right moment. I love my family and friends!

I have a big brother. His name is Richard. He is very smart but he doesn’t really do his homework because school is uninteresting for him. Teachers always say that Richard is one of the cleverest pupils they have ever met. So I’m quite proud of him. But unfortunately like every smart person my brother has no friends. People think he is too weird. He is very handsome though. And one day Richard met a girl. The girl that he was waiting for. Her game is Veronica and I’m really happy for those two!

My family isn’t large. Besides my parents I have an elder sister whose name is Irina. She is 19 and she is a student of the institute. She can play the piano very well but she can’t speak English as her friend can.
I am Masha. I am 13 and I am a student of the secondary school. I am not very tall but I am not short either. I like skating and reading. But I can’t play chess as my father can.
My mother’s name is Inna Vasilievna. She is 39 and she is a nurse in our hospital. My mother is very pretty and kind. She can draw very well but she can’t play the piano as my Granny and my older sister.
My father’s name is Ivan Petrovich. He is 42 and he is a driver in the same hospital. My father is very strong and strict. He likes to play chess but he can’t draw as well as our mother can/.
Our granny doesn’t live with us, but she lives not far from our house so I often come to see her on Sundays. We are a friendly family and we try to get along with each other and try to discuss our problems and to solve them together.

Она хорошо умеет играть на пианино, но не умеет говорить по-английски как ее подруга. Я Маша. Мне 13 лет,  и я учусь в средней школе. Я не очень высокая, но я не маленькая. Я люблю кататься на коньках и читать. Но я не умею играю в шахматы как мой отец.
Мою маму зовут Инна Васильевна. Ей 39 лет, и она работает медсестрой в нашей больнице. Моя мама очень красивая и добрая. Она умеет хорошо рисовать, но не умеет играть на пианино как моя бабушка и моя старшая сестра.
Моего отца зовут Иван Петрович. Ему  42 года, и он работает водителем в той же больнице. Мой отец очень сильный и строгий. Он любит играть в шахматы? Но не умеет так хорошо рисовать как мама. Наша бабушка не живет вместе с нами, но она живет не далеко от нашего дома, поэтому я часто прихожу к ней по воскресеньям.  
Мы дружная семья, и мы стараемся ладить друг с другом, мы обсуждаем наши проблемы и стараемся решить их вместе.

There are a lot of holidays which my family love to celebrate. First holiday i can remember is New Year. My mom cook a lot tasty things. Her special dish is impish bun. I like it. She always cook it for the New Year. On other holidays my mom cook usual things. When we celebrate birth days, carnival or thanksgiving Day we eat sweet bread, chiken and cakes. I like to meet holidays with my family. 

Есть много праздников, которые моя семья любит отмечать. Первый праздник, который я могу вспомнить - Новый год. Моя маме готовит много вкусных вещей. Ее специальное блюдо - ехидный колобок. Мне это нравится. Она всегда готовит это на Новый Год. На другие праздники моя мама готовит обычные вещи. Когда мы празднуем дни рождения, Масленицу или День благодарения мы едим сладкий хлеб, курицу и торты. Я люблю встречать праздии со своей семьей.  

Мы с мамой купили на день рождение Папе путёвки на лайнер чтобы покататься на прекрасном Чёрном море. Папа давно мечтал о катании на лайнере и вот его мечта осуществилась. Первое впечатление было незабываемым, какой красивый вид на море! В море мы сразу увидели рыбу камбалу.
