London is the capital of England. It is its political and business centre. The heart of London is the city. There are many banks and ofher offices there too. You can visit some interesting places in city or near it. William the Conqueor built it in the eleventh century. one of the greatest English churches? St. Paul’s Cathedral, is not far from the Tower of London. And you must also visit an interesting monument, the Big Ben

London is the capital of Great Britain. More than six million people live in London. It situated on the river Themes. Westminster Abbey is one of the most amazing buildings in London. Also London is a very big port. London is the largest city in Europe and one of the largest cities in the world. There are many museums in London. For example, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, etc. There are many beautiful parks in it. Such as St James’s Park, Green Park, Hyde Park, and Kensington Gardens.

Dear Ann,
I visited London last summer. I’m really happy. We went there with our teacher. I saw a lot of interesting places in London. First of all I saw Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the Thames and the Tower of London. Just imagine it! Then I also saw Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square with Nelson’s Column and the British museum. My dream came true: I took a ride on the London Eye and soon after that I saw the Changing of the Guard near Buckingham Palace. Next week I will send you some photos of my trip   to London. How did you spend your last holidays?
You were going to visit Italy, weren’t you?  Did you take pictures of your trip?

Tower Bridge is the most famous bridge over the River Thames. There is a museum inside. The Tower of London is a very old building in London. It is nine hundred years old. The Tower of London stands on the Thames.
In the early days of the history of England the English kings lived in the Tower. Then it was a prison where many people died, black ravens had much food near the walls of the Tower in those years. Tower of London is now a museum, it used to be a prison, the Royal residence and a treasure house.

London is the capital of Great Britain. There are four parts in London: West End, East End, the City and Westminster. The official London residence of the Queen is Buckingham Palace. There are many museums in London. the Queen is Buckingham Palace. There are many beautiful parks in London. There are many streets in London which are known all over the" world. Among them Oxford Street, Downing Street and a lot of others can be mentioned. And tourists are usually attracted not only by the places of interest but by the streets too. In conclusion I should say if you are lucky enough to find yourself in London some day you will have a lot to see and enjoy there.

London is an ancient city, it was based in 43 year of our era. The population made up more than million people. Now it is one of the most famous and beautiful city all over the world. In London situated a great number of buildings such as: a very big clock called Big Ben, the House of Parliament and others. The Tower of London is an old castle, which is the one of the main sights of these city. Trafalgar Square is a place where number of tourists are alwas increasing. London is also famous for Hyde park and Regent s Park-is a home of London Zoo. Each of these buildings has it own history and past. All most interesting shops ahd offices are situated here. 

Hi Mom and Dad! I’m in London now, and I’m enjoyind the trip. The weather here is warm, but it’s sometimes cloudy and rainy. I often take an umbrella when I go out. People here are polite, I like them. I become a ​​friend for a few people.

Now Moscow is the capital of Russia, it’s political, economic, cultural and commercial center, one of the largest cities in the world. The population of the city is over 9 million. Moscow is the seat of the Russian Parliament and the center of political life. There are more than 80 museums. The largest are the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the State Tretyakov Gallery. The best-known theatre is Bolshoi Theatre. Moscow is a city of students. There ere over 80 higher educational institutions in it.

London, the capital of Great Britain, is a very old town. It is two thousand years old. Many years ago London was a small town on the Thames. There were a lot of villages round it and after many years London and three hundred villages grew into a very large city. Some of the names of those villages you can find in the names of the streets in modern London — Kensington, Westminster and others.
There were many wars in those days and people from other countries came to Great Britain and destroyed London, but new houses of stone grew up.
London stands not far from the sea. Many ships from other countries came to the port of London and brought cotton, food and other things. Factories grew in London and other cities. Many shops were opened in the centre of London. In 1863 the first underground railway began to work. It was very short in those days.
Now London is a beautiful city with large squares and parks. London is one of the biggest cities in the world.

The Call of the Wild" (1903) and "White Fang" (1906) are world famous animal stories.
