I think the lessons of physical education in school is not important. It would be much better if the lesson of physical education was at least once a month. Pupils could give more attention to the most important and necessary lessons. Lessons of physical education cheer up and energizes and helps the student to keep himself in shape. But if they wants to do more exercise, they may enroll in the sports section. But at the same time, lessons of physical education just takes too much time in their schedule. If it was placed 1 per month the other lessons would become more, for example, lessons in English or Russian language. I think the lesson physical education optional and it would be better to have it reduced to a minimum.

AS we know, it is very necessary to study. But, unfortunatelly, we may be against some rules of our educational system. First of all, I would like to change the age when children start school. In my opinion, it would be better, if children began to study at the age of 8. Secondly, I would like to change the school curriculum. We know that it’s very hard for children to seat 7 lessons a day. And unfortunatelly children should be agree to visit Music for the first lesson, but they have Maths as the last lesson, it is very difficult for understanding. And thirdly, I would like to alter test and exams which pupilswill take. I would like to banish our State Exams which made pupils nervous and weak. In my opinion it should be less strenuous and  rigorous. And finally, children need a complex of extra-curriculum activities. It will be wonderful, if they have a lot of activities connected with  creative work, sport and health. I hope that our system of education will beone of the best world’s educational system

My school is rather big – it is a five-storeyed building. The building is modern – it was built about ten years ago and everything is new here. There is also all necessary equipment in the gym and other classes. The canteen is very light and clean – it is on the first floor. My favorite subjects are History, English and Economics. My favorite teacher teaches History, she is also our form-mistress. To my mind, the best place in the school is a library. I like visiting library, we can also study here. It is very cozy and very-well organized thanks to out librarian. During the breaks I like to chat with my friends and discuss interesting events. In a few months I will have my final exams. I will miss my school very much.
Моя школа довольно большая – это пятиэтажное здание. Здание современное – оно было построено около 10 лет назад и здесь всё новое. Здесь также есть всё необходимое оборудование в спортзале и других кабинетах. Столовая очень светлая и чистая – она находится на первом этаже. Мои любимые предметы – это история, английский и экономика. Мой любимый учитель ведёт историю, также она наша классный руководитель. Как мне кажется, самое лучшее место в школе – это библиотека. Я люблю посещать библиотеку, также мы можем учиться здесь. Она очень уютная и хорошо организованная благодаря нашему библиотекарю. Во время перемен я люблю поболтать с друзьями или обсудить интересные события. Через несколько месяцев у меня будут выпускные экзамены. Я буду скучать за своей школой.

Our school is large, with many spacious classrooms, the large gymnasium beautiful Assembly hall, large comfortable dining room. I am in class five. We have many interesting subjects, which are taught by experienced teachers. They conduct interesting and informative lessons. In the gym a lot of different sports equipment. In physical education classes we develop physically. 
The Director and teachers try to make our school life interesting. We have a very good school, and I’m glad to learn it.

My school is very beautiful. in her sympathetic teacher who help me if I am unable to understand the topic. I love the dining room where I eat is very tasty. Also in the school a lot of friends with whom you can talk on various topics. Also the school has a computer class in which many many computers. Gym class I really like I love to climb a rope and play with the guys in football. During math class I sometimes clear sometimes not clear. Drawing on the lesson I draw tanks and soldiers. I also like English class where I have a great teacher.
Моя школа очень красивая. В ней отзывчивые учителя которые помогают мне если у меня не получается понять тему. Еще я люблю столовую в которой я очень вкусно питаюсь. Так же в школе очень много друзей с которыми можно поговорить на разные темы. Так же в школе есть компьютерный класс в которой много много компьютеров. Урок физкультуры мне очень нравится я люблю лазить по канату и играть с ребятами в футбол. На уроке математики мне бывает понятно бывает не понятно. На уроке рисования я рисую танки и солдат. Так же мне нравиться урок Английского языка где у меня великолепный учитель.

My name is Aleksey. I’m 14 years old. I want to receive a good education and I go to school. The number of my school is 1862. My school is the center of studying. My school is neither big nor small. It is rather old, and also famous in Moscow. There is a school yard around it. There are a lot of trees near my school. One can see a sports ground near it. We have our physical training lessons there, if the weather is fine. There is a school plot near my school and we like to walk there in spring and in autumn. Our school has got two parts and four floors in each other. There are office and some rooms on the first floor. There is also a dining-room. In rooms pupils who study at home ask teachers about different things of our school life. On the second floor there are mathematics and French classes and on the third floor there are Russian and French classes too. On the fourth floor there are chemistry, physics, geographical and biologic classes. In the other part of school there are English and historian classes. Our school also has got a library. The school library is a collection of books, teaching aids and text books. It is on the first floor of the primary school. It is necessary to say about our school hall. We watch and make there different parties. In our school we also learn different languages. I’m sure that it is necessary to learn foreign languages. Knowledge of foreign languages helps young people of different countries to understand each other. I like my school very much. I spent 9 years at school. I studied at school, I had many friends there, and I learnt a lot. I understand that I was happy at school.

В кабинетах физики и химии есть лаборатории, где мы делаем опыты. В кабинете информатики стоят новые компьютеры. Ученики нашей школы часто побеждают в городских олимпиадах. В школе работают очень хорошие учителя. Каждый из них всегда интересно проводит урок. Нашего классного руководителя зовут Ирина Александровна. Она преподаёт русский язык и литературу. Благодаря ей наш класс самый дружный и образцовый. Мы часто всем классом на выходных ходим в кино, театры, музеи и на выставки. Когда начинаются каникулы, я скучаю по школе. In my school I can’t choose my subjects, because all subjects is compulsory. I think that the most important subject is Maths. My favorite subject is English. Education is very important in our life. The quality of a country’s future life, commercially; industrially and intellectually, depends on the quality of its educational system.
An educated person is one who knows a lot about many things. He always tries to learn, find out, and discover more about the world around him. He gets knowledge at school, from books, magazines, from TV educational programs. The result of the educative process is the capacity for Further education.
Russians have always shown a great concern for education. The right to education is stated in the Constitution of the Russian Federation. It is ensured by compulsory secondary schools, vocational schools, and higher education establishments. It is also ensured by the development of extramural and evening courses and the system of state scholarships and grants.
Education in Russia is compulsory up to the 9th form inclusive. The stages of compulsory schooling in Russia are: primary education for ages 6-7 to 9-10 inclusive; secondary education including intermediate school for ages 10-11 to 12-13 inclusive, and senior school for ages 13-14 to 14-15 inclusive, If a pupil of a secondary school wishes to go on in higher education, he or she must stay at school for two more years. Primary and secondary school together comprise 11 years of study. Every school has a "core curriculum" of academic subjects, such as Russian, Literature, Mathematics, History, a foreign language and others. Lyceums and gymnasiums offer programs giving a profound knowledge in some fields of study.
After finishing the 9th form one can go on to a vocational school which offers programmes of academic subjects and a programme of training in a technical field, or a profession.
After finishing the 11th form of a secondary school, a lyceum or a gymnasium one can go on in higher education. All applicants must take competitive examinations. Higher education institutions, that is, institutes or universities, offer a 5-year programme of academic subjects for undergraduates in a variety of fields, as well as a postgraduate course. If one finishes a postgraduate course and writes a thesis, he or she receives a candidate’s degree or a doctoral degree.
All secondary schools, institutes and universities until recently have been funded by the state, now there is quite a number of private fee-paying primary and secondary schools; some universities have fee-paying departments.

My Future Plans
 It is very important to know the direction you want to follow after finishing the school. When we leave school, we know that the time has come to choose the future profession and it’s not an easy task. Some children know what they want to be already in the primary school. Others make up their mind only in high school. Either way is good when you know how you want to live in the future. As for me, I have always dreamt of becoming a doctor. It is my main goal. This school year is the last for me so I have to decide which university or college to enter. Our city offers several options. For example, there is a college where I can pick up the basics of medicine. I will have to study for 2 or 3 years there and after graduating I’ll have a nurse license. After this college when I feel that I’m on the right path, I can enter the medical university, which offers many faculties. For example, I can choose to become a therapist or a surgeon. My dream is to become a surgeon, although I know that it requires lots of effort. I’ve heard that some surgeons in our country study for 8 and more years. They should always develop and practice their skills. Thus, I will definitely continue studying at the university and perhaps at the post-graduate. I’m sure that higher education is very important for stable future. When a person receives proper education, he or she will always find an interesting job to do. Another occupation I admire is painting and it is one of my favorite hobbies. Perhaps, when I get my main education, I will start taking art workshops. I’ve met some people who developed their hobbies in the future and seem to be quite happy about it.
 
Очень важно знать направление, в котором вы хотите идти после окончания школы. Когда мы покидаем школу, мы знаем, что настало время выбирать будущую профессию, и это не простая задача. Некоторые дети знают, кем они хотят быть уже в начальной школе. Другие принимают это решение только в средней школе. В любом случае это хорошо, когда вы знаете, как вы хотите жить в будущем. Что касается меня, я всегда мечтала стать врачом. Это моя главная цель. Этот учебный год последний для меня, так что я должна решить, в какой университет или колледж поступать. Наш город предлагает несколько вариантов. Например, есть колледж, где я могу научиться основам медицины. Мне придется учиться там 2 или 3 года, и после окончания я получу лицензию медсестры. После этого колледжа, когда я пойму, что на правильном пути, я могу поступить в медицинский университет, который предлагает множество факультетов. Например, я могу выбрать стать терапевтом или хирургом. Моя мечта – стать хирургом, хотя я знаю, что это требует много усилий. Я слышала, что некоторые хирурги в нашей стране учатся в течение 8 и более лет. Они всегда должны развивать и использовать свои навыки. Таким образом, я, безусловно, продолжу обучение в университете и, возможно, в аспирантуре. Я уверена, что высшее образование очень важно для стабильного будущего. Когда человек получает хорошее образование, он или она всегда найдет интересную работу. Другим занятием, которым я восхищаюсь, является рисование, и это одно из моих любимых увлечений. Может быть, когда я получу свое основное образование, я начну посещать семинары по искусству. Мне встречались люди, которые развивали свои хобби в будущем, и в связи с этим довольно счастливы.
