Попросить у мамы, украсть? Если взять взаймы, то как потом отдавать? Можно еще продавать газеты, мыть стекла машин. А есть способ, грозящий потерей жизни или тюрьмой. Это "копеечка". "Копеечка" - это игра, которую решает удача. Везет только одному. Но и выигравшему может не повезти: изобьют. За эту игру могут посадить родителей или мама будет платить очень много денег. Ребенок, который ворует деньги или играет в "копеечку", не обеспечен. Родители не следят за ним, позволяют ему все. Им наплевать на ребенка".

There are different points of view according to pocket money. Some people say that it is good when parents give pocket money. The main reason for giving pocket money is to help children learn to manage money while they are young. Pocket money can help children feel that they are important members of the family. It helps children to make choices. And parents stop giving pocket money if a child has done something wrong. But some parents say that it is bad to give pocket money to a child. They think that they are too young and they can buy something bad – alcohol, much sweet, cigarettes. So in some families children are given what they ask for and do not get pocket money. As for me my parents give me pocket money once a week. I can buy a cake or I can go to the cinema or can save them to buy something expensive. I think it is good to give pocket money but only when parents see that their child is responsible for his actions.
As teenagers in all countries we enjoy going out, walking with our friends in the park or spending time in musical clubs. We want to be independent from our parents and other adults. We understand that learning is necessary for our life, but it’s so boring. Of course, we go to school and try to be obedient, but not always. We want to get dressed up and have a little bit of pocket money. In our country, teenagers do not have the opportunity to dress as they want, because the parents do not always understand the modern fashion. Most of us can’t earn some money because of different resons. Nowadays some adults aren’t able any work so the employers do not want to deal with juveniles and adolescents have problems with the law. That is why the amount of pocket money depends on the parents and their mood or financial well-being.

They eagerly give them pocket money to solve this contradiction. The question is whether this method is useful and how considerable are children when spending this money. Some people think that teenagers have become more serious and sensible in this respect, while others think that they cannot deal with money and spend it wisely. Most people think that children buy only useless things. However, it depends on each individual child. There are some youngsters, who buy flowers for their mothers and sisters. Others buy stationery for school or food when they are starving. Notable disadvantage of pocket money is that some children can spend it on cigarettes or other health-threatening habits. That’s when parents should be alarmed. To avoid such situations, they should know exactly what their children are spending money on. Besides, giving too much money to children isn’t a good idea. They can get spoiled by easy and luxurious life. It’s better to let them earn their pocket money doing minor but useful acts. For example, some juniors deliver newspapers in their free time and earn some money. Others help with gardening or work at a carwash. This way they are involved in physical activity, which is always useful. Besides, they earn decent money and they don’t have enough time for developing bad habits. Summarizing the above-mentioned viewpoints, I’d like to say that parents should give their children only limited amount of pocket money for their daily necessities, such as buying snacks and food, pens and pencils, little toys or presents for friends.
