Пасха – самый большой религиозный праздник, который отмечают весной. Он пришел к нам из глубокой древности. В этот день, согласно христианской легенде, воскрес Иисус Христос после того, как был распят на кресте, чтобы искупить все грехи человечества. Это чудо символизирует для верующих людей освобождение от грехов. В народном представлении это праздник обновления земли и природы. Подготовка к празднику Пасхи занимает целую неделю, каждый день которого имеет особое значение, и который отмечают проведением определенных обрядов. Предшествует Пасхе семинедельный Великий пост.
Отмечают Пасху по-разному в разных странах мира и даже разных регионах Украины. Перед Пасхой во всех семьях пекут вкусные куличи и красят яйца в яркие цвета. Мне нравится запах и вкус куличей, и особенно их верхушки, присыпанные разноцветным сахаром.
Рано утром в воскресенье все идут в церковь, а после возвращения садятся за праздничный стол. В церкви священник брызгает на людей и еду святой водой. Есть традиция зажигать свечу и вставлять ее в пасху во время освящения. Если донести горящую свечу до самого дома, то будет счастье и богатство в течение целого года. В этот день вся семья обычно собирается для общения и веселья. Кругом царит радостная праздничная атмосфера.
Существует народное поверье о том, что после Пасхи окончательно теплеет, поэтому, чем раньше праздник, тем быстрее наступает весна. Я заметил, что в этот день часто идет дождь, хотя бы небольшой, а уже в понедельник наступает теплая, солнечная погода. Пасха - один из моих самых любимых праздников

New Year’s eve is a very popular holiday, especially among people who don’t celebrate Christmas. It’s spent on the 31th of December throughout to the first of January. The year is changing at that moment and people want to cherish it!
Before the holiday people go shopping for the best gifts they can find and some attributes, such as big glasses that say the number of the upcoming year, or some festive hats. Most of the time hosts cook some traditional food, such as Olivier.
