We all live somewhere: in an
apartment, in a house, etc. As
the English say, "My home —
my castle!”. Our house is a
place where we spend most
of our life, in addition to
work, study and travel. We
strive to set up our home and
make it as comfortable as
possible. Whether it’s a room,
apartment or house, this is a
reflection of our preferences
and desires. We demonstrate
our home to others and try to
know how other people live.
I would like to describe my
apartment, my "castle". Our
family lives in the apartment
with two bedrooms and a
living room. Our apartment is
bright and cozy, though
small. Each room is good in
its own way.
Living-room is the largest
room in the apartment. There
is a large sofa and a coffee
table there. There are the
bookshelves on the walls. In
front of the sofa there is a TV
set. This is where our family
spends the evening time and
welcomes visitors.
My parent"s bedroom is
furnished by my mother’s
taste. There is a simple
wardrobe and a big soft bed
in it. The window is decorated
with beautiful burgundy
curtains. Everything is very
simple and rustic.
Finally, let me describe my
room. It is very light. I sleep
on the couch of a light color.
In my room, there are two
cases, one for clothing and
one for the books. Between
them there is the computer
table. I decorated the room
with posters and
photographs. In the bookcase
there are souvenirs and gifts
from my friends. It seems to
be a usual room, but for me
my room is the dearest.

стремимся обустроить свое
жилище, сделать его
максимально комфортным.
Будь то комната, квартира
или дом, но это и есть
отражение наших
предпочтений и пожеланий.
Мы демонстрируем
окружающим наш кров и
стремимся оценить, как
живут другие.
Я бы хотел описать вам
свою квартиру, свою
«крепость». Наша семья
живет в квартире с 2
спальнями и гостиной. Наша
квартира светлая и уютная
хоть и небольшая. Каждая
комната хороша по-своему.
Гостиная – самая большая
комната в квартире. В ней
стоит большой диван и
журнальный столик. На
стенах висят полки с
книгами. Напротив дивана
стоит телевизор. Здесь
наша семья проводит вечера
и встречает гостей.
Родительская спальня
обставлена по маминому
вкусу. Простой шкаф для
одежды и большая мягкая
кровать. Окно украшают
красивые бордовые
гардины. Все очень просто
и уютно.
Ну и наконец, моя комната.
Она очень светлая. Я сплю
на мягком диване светлого
цвета. В моей комнате стоят
два шкафа, один для
одежды, другой для книг.
Между ними находится
компьютерный стол. Свою
комнату я украсил
плакатами и фотографиями.
В шкафу стоят сувениры и
подарки моих друзей. Вроде
бы обычная комната, но для
меня самая родная.

My ideal home. ______
I think that my ideal home is my home, where i’m living now. It’s very big. It has two floors: The ground floor and the first floor. Our kitchen is very wide. We also have two bathrooms, the hall, the living room, hallway, three bedrooms, the parlour and porch but my favorite part of our house is Winter garden. There you can play, do sport, play PS or just sit on the windowsill, look through the window and listening to music (At leas i do it). my sister and i have got our own rooms. Her room is gray and my room is lavender. I love my room so much! I think it’s the best room in our house. So, My ideal house is my house, where i’m living now.

I get up at 7 a. m.  I take a shower and at 7.30 I have my
breakfast. At 8 a. m. I go to school and have lessons till 14 p. m. At 14 p. m. I
have dinner. Then I go for a walk with my friends. Since 16p. m. till 18 p. m. I
usually do my homework. About 18.30 p. m. my family and I have supper
together.  At my friends and I do sports.
Then I read books, watch TV or  play
computer games. At 21.30 p. m. I take a shower and go to bed. Usually I sleep
well.

I like chocolate very much. But I am not sure I would like to live in a house made of chocolate.  Of course it would be nice to eat it but you can’t eat too much  chocolate.  Also the smell of chocolate at a certain point can become very annoying if you smell it all the time.   There are other pleasant smells in this world after all.  The house made of chocolate can’t keep you warm in cold weather either.  And also it can melt in hot weather.  And of course it  will hardly stand strong wind or rain.  So no chocolate houses for me please!

У меня идеальный дом. В нем всегда порядок и чистота, наша семья убирает его почти каждый день. На полу у меня лежит красивый ковер, а на стене весит картина. У нас 4-ёх комнатная квартира: спальня, зал, детская, гостиная. В детской большой письменный стол, в гостиной  на стене весит телевизор, а в спальне большой, красивый диван. Полы покрыты линолеумом во всех комнатах. Красивый балкон с пластиковым окном а в гостиной стена(мебель возле стены) и в детской одна красивая кровать.  

My beautiful house.
My beautiful house will be with big pink windows. And blue doors. I will have a big wordroub.

My name is Maria and I’m a teenager.
I’m 15 years old. In fact, children aged
13 to 19 are considered to be teenagers.
In my opinion, it is one of the best
periods of life. Although, there are, of
course, some advantages and
disadvantages of this age group. It isn’t
always easy to be a teenager. Boys and
girls often meet their first love when
they are teenagers. This type of love can
be unhappy. Many teenagers start
smoking and drinking alcohol, which is
not good at all. They simply don’t know
how unhealthy it can be. This way they
want to look older and more mature. I
think this is the age when parents should
keep an eye on their children to help
them overcome such problems. In many
countries, teenagers have jobs while they
are still at school. It is a good way to
keep busy. When teens do something
useful and have interesting hobbies, they
are less seen in bad companies. Of
course, these jobs are not full-time
because pupils should also attend their
classes during the day. Part-time jobs are
a good solution in this situation. One of
my English pen-friends does a part-time
job. She wakes up early and delivers
newspapers in the neighborhood. Then,
she goes to school. It’s a low-paid job but
she still likes it. At least, she gets some
pocket money. I wish I could do
something similar in my town.
Unfortunately, I almost don’t have any
free time. I’m now at a high school and I
study hard to pass the exams. Other than
that, I attend special IT workshops for
my future career. In the end, when I
have some free time left I read books.
Reading is one of my favorite hobbies.
As you see, unlike many teenagers, I have no time for bad habits.

This is our house. It’s a beautifilul! There’s a cat on the sofa! His name is Martin. He is very fat and very black cat! Look! There’s my liitle sister in the hall! She’s 5. My mother was very happy, when Alina was born. My mother’s name is Alexandra. She is the most beautiful mother in the world! My father’s name is Oleg. He’s 35. He’s very brave and he’s my hero! He built our house! Our house is very nice! I love my family and our beautiful house!

Мою маму звать Александра. Она самая красивая мама в мире! Имя моего папы - Олег. Ему 35. Он очень смелый и он мой герой! Он построил наш дом! Наш дом очень хороший! Я люблю свою семью и наш красивый дом!

Shakespeare. He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon. Stratford school was a difficult place to study. Training days were long. Only during the holidays William could really relax. When William was twenty-one, he went to London. He became an actor. Later, he began to write plays. Shakespeare looked at life in a new way. He was showing the people of this world.
Шекспир. Он родился в городе Стратфорд-на-Эйвоне. Стратфордская школа была тяжёлым местом для учёбы. Учебные дни были длинными. Только в праздники Уильям может по-настоящему отдохнуть.
Когда Уильяму был двадцать один год, он отправился в Лондон. Он стал актером.  Позже он начал писать пьесы. Шекспир смотрел на жизнь по-новому.  Он показывал людям этот мир.  

Мой дом Мой дом очень большой и красивый. В моем доме 8 комнат и 2 этажа. На первом этаже находится: кухня, гостиная, гардеробная и кладовка. На втором этаже спальня, моя комната, чердак и моя вторая комната(гардероб). Со мной живет кот, попугай0, змея, хомяки и мои родители. У меня очень много животных. Я очень люблю свой дом.

I live in a comfortable city flat in a 9-stored block of flats not far from the centre of Samara. It is not a very green place, but still there are many trees around the house and in summer the yard looks very beautiful and cozy. The house is located comfortably because there a few supermarkets, pharmacies around and a cinema.
My flat is on the fourth floor. It’s very comfortable and well-planned. There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony overlooking the yard.
We have all modern conveniences, such as central heating, electricity, cold and hot running water and a telephone. The largest room in our flat is the living room. My family uses it as a sitting room. There is a sofa, two armchairs, a small glass coffee table, a TV set on the wall and a DVD player in it. We use this room to meet the guests and to celebrate all holidays and important family occasions.
Two other rooms are a bedroom of my parents and my bedroom. My room is rather small but it is very cozy. I like it so much, because this is my own place, my own corner.
I have all the things that I need there – a soft bed at the right corner, a table near the window with a computer and a wardrobe near the wall.
Our kitchen is not very large but it’s light. It’s very well-equipped. We have got a refrigerator, a microwave oven, an electric teapot, a coffee maker and a toaster and a lot of other household stuff. My mum likes cooking very much and in the evenings my family likes having dinner together in the kitchen – it’s our family tradition.
