I would like to tell you about my best friend. Her name is Lena. We know each other for many years. She is my next door neighbor. I always recognize her among many others. She is a girl of average height with a long curly blond hair. Lena has a sporty constitution. She is lean and slender build. Her skin has a cream-white color. Her face is oval. Lena has a straight nose and thick protruding lips. Her face is covered with freckles. Lena’s eyes are very beautiful. They are of deep green color, which reminds emerald. Her face is always kind and well-wishing. She often smiles and she’s always optimistic. Lena is very pretty girl and a true friend.

I have a best friend. Her name is Vika. I know her for 6 years. Since first grade we’ve been best friends. We have so much fun spending time together. Every day after school we come to the Playground and play with her. We’re doing lessons and they go to the pool. I love my girlfriend!

I visited London last week. It*s a beautiful city. London have 4 parts East End, West End, The City and Westminster. The City is financial and business centre. The Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral are situated in the City. Westminster is administrative centre of London.  The Houses of Parliament, the seat of the British Government, are there. West End is the richest part of London. It is full of cinemas, shops, restoraunts, concert-halls and comfortable cafes. East End is an industrial district of the capital. Many parks are situated there. My favorite part of London is West End. There i can spent my time all day.

Hello Galyna,
     I’m writing to you from London sitting on the bench near the Palace of Westminster. I decided to write to you right here, while I have an opportunity to look at this marvelous building. You know, it is amazing to view!  People from all corners of the world are flocking to this place to take pictures of it, so I thought that  I should buy a postcard with this building because it is an unforgettable place to see.
      So, the Palace is one of the most significant monuments of neo-Gothic architecture. It is very high building performed in the perpendicular style, and its admirable oak roof is one of the greatest achievements of medieval construction in wood. I do not know exactly what square it covers, but it took me an hour to walk around it.  The building is designed with the typical English flair, all walls of it are symmetrically dependent as if a great mathematician worked on them. It has been beautifully redesigned not long ago, that is why it looks so sophisticated and elegant.
       Galyna I think you are going to like this postcard very much because sometimes words cannot convey the authentic beauty of a place.

My Friend
My best friend’s name is Olga. I made friends with her a few years ago in a fitness club. We are of the same age and we have a great deal in common.
Olga is a very beautiful girl. She is rather tall and slim. Her hair is fair and thick. Her eyes are green and quite big, with long and curly lashes. My friend is always very neat and well-dressed.
The best traits which appeal to me in my friend are her good manners, her great sense of humor and her reliability. I can always rely on Olga and trust her, she is honest and just. She keeps her promises and has never let me down. And I really respect her for these qualities. Besides she is cheerful and sociable, full of life and optimism. So no wonder it attracts other people to her and makes her popular. My friend is a talented and creative person, she cooks well, writes amazing poems and she has a great passion for painting. She is going to become a professional artist, by the way.
Fortunately we live in the same town, so we can see each other quite often and spend much time together. In our spare time we go to the cinema and cafes, visit art galleries, listen to music, walk around our beautiful city and go shopping. Sometimes we enjoy our time together in the swimming-pool or in the gym. We share our secrets and thoughts, discuss our problems and try to find the solutions. I am very happy to have such a true and special friend and I know that a true friend is a priceless gift. Our friendship makes me feel strong, warm and comfortable.

My friend*s name is Lyuba. She lives with it parents in a big house. They have a big flat. There are four rooms in they flat. There are three bedrooms? a living room? a batroom and a kitchen. Lyuba*s bedroom is not very big? but it is very nice and light. There are two chairs, a desk, a sofa, a wardrobe and a bookcase in it room. There is a picture on the wall. The walls is it room are yellow and the curtains are yellow too. 
It books are in the bookcase and pens, exercise books and pencils are in the drawer of the desk. It room is clean. I like it room.

Among many of my closest friends, I think Angela. In fact, her name is Angelica, but used to call her pet name. She is my classmate. But we see each other it is not only in the school. It is often said that friendship is means a lot. I definitely agree with this. As everybody else I have my best friend. Her name is Liza. Sometimes I can’t understand how such different people like me and her can be friends. We have different views on the same things, we often even quarrel, because we can’t agree in some things. But still she is me best friend and I’m hers. On the other hand we also have a lot in common. We like the same music and films. We share secrets. And of course we spend our free time together. In Liza I like that I can have a really good time with her. We can laugh like crazy about silly things. And I can be sure in her like in myself. I think it’s important that you can trust your friend.

Unfortunately, I often have arguments with my parents especially with my mum because of misunderstanding. She doesn’t support my interests and hobbies and I prefer going out with my friends to staying at home with my parents. I’m really bored with them! I have a lot of fun with my friends!
