Toying with the past. 
Dolls that sing and dance, cars that move at the touch of a button and aeroplanes that fly are the toys that make children happy today. Now, let’s take a journey into the past. What toys were there in a child’s playground in the 18th century or the Victorian times? 
In those times, building bricks with letters of the alphabet on them were very common. Toys of this kind helped children learn while playing. Other toys such as model kitchens, doll’s houses, toy stoves and tea sets taught girls how to run a home. Dolls of wood, clay and wax were also very popular with girls and prepared them to become mothers. As for boys, tool kits, trains, cars, trucks and garages gave them an interest in engineering. Both boys and girls, though, loved their rocking horses, and teddy bears. 
Things for children from poor families were different. They played mostly on the street and they didn’t have money to buy new dolls or toy cars. They used mud, tin caps, old clothes and their imagination to make their own toys. 
No matter how old or new, expensive or cheap toys are, they always have a special place in children’s hearts, throughout theages. 

My name is Violetta. I have got a lot of toys! I love each of them very much. They are my best friends! I like to take care of them. But most of all I like my fury pink rabbit Aurora!

She has got a red bow on its head, nice nose and beautiful eyes.  Aurora can sing songs. When I am sad she makes me happy.

I also have a funny pony. Her name is Fialka. I gave her this name because of her long violet hair.

I’ve got also two funny brothers, my hedgehog Yasha and a little rabbit Sasha. They are brothers because my granny presented them to me for my birthday.

I love my toys very much! I play with them every day! I believe you have such wonderful friends too!

Hello everybody. I think that you will like my report about Matryoshka. At home I have a lot of toys but only one Russian " matryoshka ". My motrёshka very beautiful with blue ( green or brown ) with svetlymivolosami and her 6 motrёshek.
I bought it in Saint - Petersburg and is pleased that it has bought !

As a child, my parents often spoiled, buy different toys. But the favorite was one - a wooden machine, which I fashioned my grandfather. With it, I connected a lot of memories. It now stands at me on the shelf among books and recalls the happy days. She damaged wheel, scratched sides. But still, this machine - like a treasure, which I no matter what would not change. Grandfather for a long time are no longer with us, but I remember him vystrugival of logs box car of the future, drilled holes to hold them through the spokes of the wheel and fit.       Когда я была маленькой, то любила прятать нос в теплую шубку медвежонка. Да и сейчас, хотя я уже выросла, я часто беру Толю на руки, прижимаюсь к нему щекой, иногда так и засыпаю, вместе с ним. И еще я люблю делать уроки, когда рядом сидит Толя, он словно помогает мне лучше думать. А если мой брат небрежно бросит мишку, Толя рявкает, выражая свое недовольство. Но это бывает редко, потому что не только я, но и все у нас в доме очень любят пушистого маленького друга.

Сбоку самолета имеется надпись на английском: «Russia».      Обычно я запускаю самолет на улице, во дворе, когда мы гуляем вместе с друзьями. Всем очень нравится моя новая игрушка, и все тоже хотят ею управлять. Иногда я даю  им пульт управления. Также, я почти всегда беру свой самолет на природу, на шашлыки, когда мы ходим на речку, в лес. С ним очень весело! Даже родители иногда просят у меня самолет, чтобы самим поиграть!
