I want to tell you about the last film I have seen. It was the screen version of the novel “Gone with the wind”. It is an old film but it is still very popular. There are a lot of famous American actors in it like Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of its producer. The plot is set in the USA in 18th century during the Independence War. The main character is Skarlet. The is no more lively character who makes the spectator palpitate. Skarlet goes through many troubles but her sharp and strong mind helps her to survive and to develop moral values in this cruel world. The dialogues sound great and very natural. The old location is very realistic and the costumes are excellent. Now different movie versions of novels and stories of famous writers are still very popular. I was deeply impressed by the acting and the film itself. I certainly recommended you to watch it.

Yesterday I watched a great cartoon "Hakuna Mathata". I liked it very much. It became one of my favorite cartoons. I watched it because this film gave much fun to people of different characters. That’s why I like it very much. The person who directed the film is Bradley Raymond. The leading actors who gave their voices to the cartoon are Nathan Lane, Ernie Sabella, Julie Kavner, Jerry Stiller, Mathew Broderick, Moira Kelly and Whoopi Goldberg. There weren’t any special effects in the cartoon but the soundtracks were awesome. This cartoon is about a friendship between 3 personages – Timon, Pumba, and Simba. They are in Africa. Timon was exiled from his tribe. He met a monkey who told him about a special place "Hakuna Mathata". The Monkey said that "Hakuna Mathata" meant "No problem". When Timon was looking for this place he met Pumba and they became friends till the end of the cartoon. I recommend this film. You should see it, because it is good for people of different ages and characters and I am sure you will like it. The film that left a deep and lasting impression on me is a great work of James Cameron direction – “Titanic”. This is feature colored film of more than 3 hours long. This film was released by Columbia Pictures associated with 20th Century Fox. For Russian audience it was doubled by several TV companies and channels. The director of “Titanic” is well-known Canadian James Cameron famous for his huge budget movie hits. “Titanic” deals with a tremendous disaster which happened on April, 14 1912 in the Atlantic Ocean when more than 15 hundred people died in freezing water after the enormously huge and luxurious passenger liner “Titanic” had sunk. On this background the love of two young people strongly separated by position they took in society was growing. This story is not quite typical, more likely it’s a story of prohibited feelings among the tragic events. The climax of the story is simultaneously the moment when Rose (American aristocrat betrothed to a rich and hopeful suitor) and Jack (free-spirited poor artist who won his 3rd class passage in a card game) despite of great difference between them understood that their love was true and the only thing really worth living. In the same time the liner collided with an iceberg and began to sink. The end of the film is quite logical. Rose whose mind and soul have totally changed after Jack’s death hid from her suitor and begins a new life under the surname of the man who could never be her husband but whom she really loved. Rose refused the false glint of her aristocratic past. All the scenes in “Titanic” are skillfully directed and show the logical development of the events and changes in characters.“Titanic” has got an all-star cast for the main characters. Kate Winslet and Leo Di Caprio play the lead. The supporting roles help the plot to develop in natural way and emphases all the dramatic nature of the story to make it full of serious content. All the actors created the true to life images of their characters which is proved by the fact that the movie has won universal acclaim and has got a powerful impact on the public.

Now about the plot of the film. We transfers to the prehistoric age, when people can’t speak. The Earth is ruling by the Mammoths. At then time appears the danger of Ice Age.
At the beginning of the film we see a lot of animals which are going to the south. But some animals, such as mammoths Manfred (the voice of Ray Romano) prefer to live in Ice. This mammoth is very kind, fairly, but lonely.
The second hero is stoat «горностай» Sid (the voice of John Leguizamo). He is very social, Manfred called him a terrible chatterbox. In spite of his small size, he survives in prehistoric age. Sid meets Manfred and the mammoth protects him. Sid becomes Manfred’s friend.
People in this film use pictures as a communication method.
The next hero is Soto, the leader of tigers group. Soto orders Diego, which is one of the tigers, to bring him peoples baby.
After Diego’s attack on the settlement, the mother of the baby with her child jumps to the waterfall. The mother dies, but her baby survives. Manfred and Sid shelter the baby and decide to carry him to the rest of the settlers. The tiger Diego goes with them, he leads them to the tigers group, but he feels sorry to the Manfred and Sid and becomes their friend. Later Diego protects friends from the Soto.
The end of the story is very sentimental. Friends bring the baby to his father and go back.
The film is full of humor. The main humor person is squirrel, but it has no communication with the main plot of the film. It makes a lot of funny situations. I’s like to tell you about one of the films, I’ve been watching recently. Les Misérables was set in 2012 in England, despite the French title. It’s a screen version of a very popular Broadway musical, which, in turn, is an adaptation of the Novel by Victor Hugo. Les Misérables was directed by Tom Hooper, a sheer crackjack, Oscar winner for the film "The King’s Speech". The giant glory was given to the sensational musical by talanted cast: Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and many others.
The action of the movie develops in the beginning of the 19th century in Paris. The runaway conviсt Jean Valjean, who was sentenced to prison, is forced to hide from a cruel justice for many years. The inspector of the Paris police Javert considers the capture of Valjean as an affair of his life. After the death of Fantine, the woman, for the fate of whose Jean Valjean was in charge, the only one person close to him is her daughter Cosette. Meanwhile the ABC friends led by Enjolras are preparing to the revolution.
I don’t think that this film is for everyone, because it lasts almost 3 hours and characters are always singing. By the way, the originality of Les Misérables is in the fact that all actors are singing with their own voices and directly on the set. So we can also estimate the vocal skills of actors.

I really like Harry Potter movies. I enjoy all eight movies, because they’re so impressive, so I will not stop watching them sometimes.
Recently I have watched the last movie of Harry Potter again — "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part two". So some people say that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part one" was a bit boring, so I am sure that the last one isn’t boring at all, it is very thrilling. I suppose, the first thrilling and maybe funny thing in the film was when after all the students had been got together under the order professor Snape, professor Snape tells them that the security of Hogwarts (it is the school of Magic Craft and Wizardry) is so high that Harry Potter will never step on Hogwarts grounds, but then Harry Potter comes out of the crowd of pupils, scoffes and tells everyone who killed Dumbldore, it was Snape. It was a thrilling, but laughable moment though. Then professor McGonagall fights Snape, and then professor Snape does a bunk. The next episode is really thrilling too. A battle for Hogwarts soon starts. I think that the music in this episode plays the greatest role, so it is very catchy, everything looked realistic.
So everything in the movie was very colorful, spectacular and gripping the whole movie! I liked Harry Potter movie!

I hate action films because of cruelty and violence. I feel sad when the people on the screen hit each other. Violence is not my cup of tea. I think that books and films can teach us to be kind and compassionate. I want everybody to live in peace and harmony. It seems to me films you watch may tell everybody about you and your fellings. My favorite film is "White Bim Black Ear" by Gabriel Topolsky that teaches us kindness and mercy, faithfulness and loyalty. A big city. Single man and a faithful dog live in the same apartment. They are very attached to each other. But sick owner of the dog was taken to the hospital. He manages to say to Bim only one word "Wait!" And the dog understandshim and he is waiting fir his frind.
Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of evil and unpleasant people, and Bim has to meet them in the image of the woman who hates dogs, the angry and cruel collector of dogs’ collars, the hunter from a small village.
But fortunately, there are much more kind and responsive people in this world, and they help the poor dog. They take an active part in the fates of Bim and its owner. The story teaches us to be faithful friends, shows us that hatred and betrayal are the lowest traits.
The little boy, faced with cruelty adults, rebels against them, he told the most important words calling us to goodness and mercy, compassion and empathy.
