Mobile phone is a very useful device. Nowadays some people can hardly imagine themselves without mobile  phones. If  they leave it at home they feel quite helpless.

The main advantage of a phone is that you can  keep in touch with people in any place and in any time.  It is very useful if you need help. Modern mobile phones are multi-function. You can play games, listen to music, find information in the Internet, take photos and so on. We take it use it everywhere.  It helps you not to be bored. Now all adults and all children have a mobile.   

But there are some disadvantages. People see each other less frequently. If parents give a mobile to their children he or she uses it at the lessons. It is not very good. The next disadvantage of mobile phones is their harmful influence on people’s health.

I think that nowadays mobile phones are an integral part of life of any person. We can do nothing with it. We can’t stop it. I personally need it every day. I need to call my parents or my friends. It helps me to keep in touch with my friends and relatives in any time. I also listen to music and find the information I need in it. 

I would like ta say a few words about our classroom for computer science.

It is a large and light room with a lot of big windows in it. On the window sill there are many cactuses. There are twelve desks, on which there stand twenty four PCs(personal computers). Each desk stands in front of the window.

 There is also a main computer called - "server" in the room. It stands near the desk of our teacher. It has a modem and we use it to connect to the Internet.  There are also several posters in the classroom that help us to learn "Basic" - a programming language.

  In conclusion, I would like to say, that I like computer science lessons that’s why I try to spend my free time in the classroom.

Сейчас мы не можем представит себе жизнь без телефона и компьютера. Телефон это прежде всего средство коммуникаци. Так же мы можем использовать его для фотографий музыки и игр. Компьютер также можно использовать как для работы так и для развлечений.

Speaking about the harm of long-term stay of the child at the monitor, the doctors mention the following factors.
- Wrong landing at the table is for kids posture; reduced physical activity leads to weight gain; a flickering monitor can contribute to the deterioration of vision. These problems can be solved by properly organizing the workplace at the computer and limiting children’s computer time.
- In children, sharply sensing the lack of attention from parents, unbalanced, excitable, often there is computer addiction.
- Very quickly at such children there comes a nervous exhaustion, an overstrain with which it is difficult to fight.
- "Wrong" computer games entail the appearance of aggressive behavior in children. Unstable children’s mentality causes children to be nervous, unruly, excessively noisy.

Компьютер-наш верный друг, он помогает нам. Но у него есть и свои минусы. Например, если долго за ним работать ухудшается зрение, если просто играться в него- теряется память, внимание, а если сидеть за ним без дела- загрязняется мозг, получается лишняя информация.  

Таким образом, компьютер нужно использовать по делу, тогда он будет хорошим другом =)

I want to admit that modern technology play gret role in our life and we have to follow then to be more smart and also it is open to us new ways of studying. 
Speaking about computers I want to say that it has many advantages and disadvantages. Today you can find everything in Internet. Information, different games it s also hepl us to stay in touch with people why live far away from us.
But it can affecr on our helth. First of all it so-called gamers who spend a lot of time just playing in games and forgot about real word about family. They offen eat behind screen so it afferct on they shape in bad way.
It also affect on our eyes. Most of people who work for a long time use to wear glasses.
We have to think about all advanteges and disadvanteges and care about our life. 

Our life would be boring without computers. It’s hard to believe that one device can provide people with entertainment, news, education, music. With the appearance of computer many things have lost their importance. People don’t watch TV anymore, don’t go to the cinema very often. They don’t listen to the radio, CD- or MP3-player. They’ve stopped buying newspapers and magazines. 
Many have taken online classes. Thus, computers and Internet have become an integral part of every family. Computer is a powerful tool. It helps to create colourful presentations, to calculate large numbers, to write articles, to save and edit photos, to keep documentation and, of course, to surf the web. Internet is the main stream of information nowadays. It informs us, entertains and educates. We find everyday news online, educational resources, films, music, games. Everyone can find something to his or her own taste there. However, computers have certain disadvantages. First of all, there is too much violence online, as well as aggressive pictures and irrelevant information. All this can lead to different problems. Secondly, Internet is a free space, where personal information can easily be stolen. So, people should be aware of what they are posting or downloading.
Thirdly, computers have turned people into passive creatures. They can spend hours in front of the monitors, which results into poor eyesight and other health issues. In conclusion, I’d like to add that computers are good at certain extent. If they are being used wisely and moderately, then they can make our life better 

Many people believe that governments should spend as much money as possible on developing or buying computer technologies, while others think that governments should spend money on more basic needs. While both spending on computer technologies and on basic needs of the society are important, I think that government should concentrate on the latter. Computer technologies are not very good investments from the point of view of society as a whole, while investments in essentials have a much higher rate of return.

Investment in areas related to computer software, networks and hardware are not very profitable and will not improve life of ordinary citizens. Several years ago many people believed that by investing in computer-related fields we can improve performance across the board, but the reality has not been what we have thought about. Most of Internet companies and dot-coms went bankrupt. Although huge money was poured into those companies, many of them cannot stay in business anymore. The promise of improved performance has never come true.

Even in the United States, the most powerful and prosperous country in the world, there are still more than 20 million people who live below the poverty line. More than third of the earth population live on less than one dollar a day -the official threshold of poverty declared by United Nations. We can greatly improve the life of those people by investing in public education, organizing loan agencies or other projects that can help to alleviate poverty. What is more, computers can actually make this problem worse, because with the application of computer technology, more and more people are losing their jobs - thus making most of the world"s uneducated population obsolete and without means to sustain themselves.

Analysts expect that in several decades more than third of the population on the Earth will not have access to clean water. This can result in famine, deteriorate public health and other disasters. Some argue that we might have wars for the access to clean water. To prevent this scenario we need to invest a large amount of money in projects that will help to save clean water on our planet.

In conclusion I want to say, that investments in computers will not solve a single problem of our society. Computers will not prevent famines, which are so usual today, or help poor people. On the contrary, computers can make poor blue-collar workers out of work and money to support their families. So governments around the world should spend all available money on basic necessities of our society, not on some dream projects.

The computer turned into a universal remedy for processing of all types of information used by the person. Since childhood we get used to fascinating computer games, fascinating "teaching tools"; we learn to read, write, draw, without departing from the screen; right there we watch movies, we listen to music. Our parents by means of this car make and transfer documents, write business letters, communicate with colleagues on business. Modern achievements allow to contact quickly the help of the Internet with an every spot on the globe and to learn about all the newest information. By means of the computer it is possible to develop the situation of the house corresponding to all tastes and desires of the person, to pick up suitable style in clothes, a hairdress, cosmetics and many other things.
Certainly, all this is very important for the person. Therefore the advantage of the computer is huge. But recently scientists and physicians began to say even more often that this device isn’t too safe for human health. We so got used that a lot of things can be made by means of the car that we wouldn’t like to write, make independently even the simplest calculations.

There so many advantages of using a computer. First of all they make our lives easier. Computers help us at school, university, at work. It’s faster to write something on computer, than by hand, it’s more convenient to send emails than letters by post. I often use computer in my studies, for example, if I need to read a book I can easily download it from the Internet. I also use Internet to search for information I need for school. I like watching movies very much. But I don’t like these movies shown at our cinemas and the choice is not so wide. Using my computer I can find any movie I like and moreover I can watch films in English. Computer and Internet help me to communicate with my friends who live in other countries and find new friends. It would be difficult to stay in touch with them without computer, but with the help of it we can send emails to each other, share photos, music and so on. But unfortunately some people keep no measure in using computers. Children and teenagers are addicted to computer games and don’t have time for studying or reading books. Some of them prefer online chatting to face to face communication with their friends. Computer harms our psychological state and eye sight. So I think computers are really useful if we don’t use them excessively. Компьютеры сейчас – неотъемлемая часть нашей жизни. Я не могу представить себе жизнь без компьютера. Существует столько преимуществ использования компьютера.  Прежде всего, они делают нашу жизнь проще. Компьютеры помогают нам в школе, университете и на работе. Намного быстрее набрать текст на компьютере, чем написать от руки, намного удобнее отправить электронное сообщение, чем письмо по почте. Я часто использую компьютер для учебы, например, если мне нужно прочитать книгу, я могу просто скачать ее из интернета. Я также могу найти информацию, которая мне нужна для школы.  Я люблю смотреть кино. Но мне не нравятся те фильм, которые показывают у нас в кинотеатрах, и выбор не очень большой. С помощью моего компьютера я могу найти фильмы, которые хочу и, более того, можно смотреть фильм на английском.  Компьютер и интернет помогают мне общаться с друзьями, которые живут в других странах и находить новых друзей. Было бы сложно поддерживать контакт с ними без компьютера, но с его помощью мы можем посылать друг другу электронные сообщения, делиться фотографиями, музыкой и так далее.  Но, к сожалению, некоторые не знают меры в использовании компьютера. Дети и подростки зависимы от компьютерных игр и у них нет времени на учебу и чтение. Некоторые предпочитают общаться с друзьями онлайн, а не лицом к лицу. Компьютер отрицательно воздействует на психологию человека и зрение.  Я думаю, что компьютеры полезны во многом, если мы не злоупотребляем ими.
