Рассказ / Загрязнение окружающей среды (на англ.)

Every year more and more plants and animals disappear never to be seen again. In many lakes and rivers fish are dying and some lakes have no fish at all.
Trees are also in serious danger. This new danger attacks all trees like oak, beech and birch as well as fir tree and pine. First the branches turn yellow and brown. Then the trees’ needles or leaves fall. The roots and the trunk shrinks. Finally the trees die.
What is killing  fish and trees? The problem is acid rains. Factories, power station and cars emit tons of smoke into the air. The smoke contains substanes which mix with water vapour in atmosphere and form acid. Sunlight turns these acids into poisonous oxsdants which fall in rain. The wind carries the poisonous substances from one country to another.  It must be stopped! If people of the world don’t unite their efforts against acid rains, trees and fish will die and we will too.

Our planet Earth is the only place where we can live. People have always polluted their surroundings, and now the problem of pollution has become more and more dangerous.
Today our planet is in a serious danger. With the development of crowded industrial cities people have faced the danger of pollution. Air, water and soil are necessary for the existence of all living thing
Environment pollution spoils the natural beauty of our planet. But, we can reduce the pollution. The government of all countries take measures for reducing pollution. People do their best to stop polluting activities.

Nature also suffers from land and nuclear pollutions. The reasons for such environmental problems are numerous. Among them increasing number of cars in the streets, factory waste, millions of cut down trees, destroyed habitads of animals, polluted rivers and seas. When we look closely, we’ll notice that not only one city is under danger, but the majority of world population. Fortunately, there’re many ways to suspend these problems. If everybody begins caring about the planet we live on, many environmental problems can be solved". Перевод:

Природа также страдает от загрязнения земли и радиоактивности. Причин для таких проблем окружающей среды множество. Среди них, повышение количества автомобилей на дорогах, отходы заводов, миллионы срубленных деревьев, разрушение естественной среды обитания животных, загрязнённые реки и моря. Если присмотреться, то можно заметить, что не только один город в опасности, но и большая часть населения мира. К счастью, есть много возможностей приостановить эти проблемы. Если все начнут заботиться о планете, на которой живут, многие экологические проблемы могут быть решены.  

Environmental pollution is one of the largest problems in our today’s world. It can be defined as a contamination of air, water and land from man-made waste. Nowadays there aren’t any cities and hardly any rural areas that remain clean and unpolluted.

There are a lot of different types of pollution among which the most recognized are air and water pollution, soil and radioactive contamination, littering, noise, light and thermal pollution. Unfortunately, most of the problems are the result of human activities. Indeed, the contradictions between man and nature are on a high level.

People cut down forests and thus damage thousands of acres of land. First of all, the soil  can be easily blown away and secondly, even if new trees are planted, they can’t bring back the old forests that were a part of a complex ecosystem that cleaned the air and made home for wildlife.

Big industrial cities produce a lot of waste every day. It’s either thrown away or dug up which leads to the releasing of dangerous chemicals into the soil. Very often toxic or poisonous liquid chemicals are poured into the water therefore people’s health is put at risk. However, they are themselves responsible for this.

Water and air pollution are also a serious threat to our environment. The main factors contributing to them are car fumes, oil spills, throwing litter and many others. Polluted air and water affect people’s health to such an extent that millions of them have got no access to safe drinking water.

In conclusion, it must be said that if we want to live in a better and healthier world we should take great care of our mother nature and learn to protect it.

1. Предложить населению начать сбор средств на фильтр для воды в реках.
2. Бережно относиться к воде.
Леса.
1. Не вырубать деревья, бережно относиться к природе.
2. Не разжигать костры в зоне леса, не устраивать пикники и прочее.
Rivers.
1. Offer the public to start fundraising for a water filter in the rivers.2. Treat the water.
Forests.
1. Not to cut down trees, treat the nature good.2. Not to light fires in the forest, not picnics, and more.

я напишу по-английски:

1). every day we throw away millions of tons of rubbish.

2). half of this is paper that we can use again.

3). a typical family in europe or america throws away more than 1 tonne of rubbish each year, but we can recycle most of this.

4). if we recycle things, we can save the money, energy and natural resources.

5). recycling the sunday NEW YORK TIMES newspaper, for example, will save 75,000 trees every week.

6). a lot of the rubbish that we throw away is not biodegradable(биологически не перерабатываемые)

7). plastic, metals and chemicals will not disappear for hundreds of years.

8). we also produce a lot of unnecessary things, such as plastic packaging.

9). it pollutes the air, the land and the water.

10). we must not use non-biodegrable material and we must reduce a lot of unnecessary things that we produce and use.
