The number of my school is (число). My school is not very small. There are three floors in it. There is a school yard around it. There are a lot of classrooms here, for example, chemistry, physics, historian, geographical, biologic and other classes; also we have English classes with famous English writers on the walls. Our classrooms are light. There are a lot of computers in the classroom for computer study.
On the third floor there is a library with a good collection of books and textbooks. On the second floor we have a large gym where we have our physical training lessons. On the first floor there is a dining-room. The first floor is for the primary school.
I like to go to school because I have many friends there. I understand that knowledge is very important.

My ideal school when classes begin when I go on them, there are friendly and good-natured teacher. When you see a classmate, happy to see every meeting. I want there has always been a joyful atmosphere. Nobody did not call each other. Generally I like my school now.

Perfect for me, school would be situated in a quiet location close to a large park, so that students could walk, relaxing after classes. The school would be a great snack bar where students could have a cup of tea or coffee and sandwiches during recess. In my ideal school would also have lockers for books and personal belongings in American schools.

Напишите рассказ на тему: would you like in perfect school?(хотелось бы тебе учиться в совершенной школе?)

We need smaller class sizes, especially for students with learning difficulties. We must  get rid of blackboards andd chalk and replace them with interactice whiteboards.

A headmaster could make a school webpage that really works. First of all we could hand in your homework, consult out our exam results and so on. If i could i wold organise more school trips. Some subjects must be optional, not compulsory. And of course we should get big lockers, where we could store our books and exersise books.

What’s different between schools in Russia and the UK?
All state schools in Russia and in Britain are free. In Russia children primary start school at about six or seven years old and in Britain they go to school at five. In Russia and in Britain children start secondary school at about 11 years old and end at the age of 15 or 16. Then Russian schoolchildren go the senior school and study there for two years or go to the college. After senior school they go to universities. British children go to the Sixth Form College at the age of 16, and then they go to the universities. In Russia students get marks where 5 is the best and 2 is the worst mark. In Britain the best mark is A, the worst one is Е. Russian students have three terms and a week holiday between each term. Summer holidays last three months. British students have six terms and a week or two holiday after each term. Summer holidays last six weeks in Britain. Russian and British students have out-of-class activity, go to the trips and excursions.

Great Britain Schools.

In Britain it is compulsory for everyone between the ages of 5 and 16 years to receive some officially recognized form of schooling, though most secondary schools continue to provide education until the age of 18.

The vast majority of pupils attend state schools, which are absolutely free (including all text books and exercise books), but there are also about 500 private schools providing secondary education. The most famous of these schools are Eton and Harrow.

There is no statutory age at which students change from primary to secondary school, nor are schools "specialized" — pupils choose from the numerous subjects taught in their particular school.

The recently introduced National Curriculum has made it compulsory, however, for three core subjects — English, mathematics, and science — and seven other foundation subjects — technology (including design), history, geography, music, art, physical education, and a modern foreign language — to be included in the curricula of all pupils.

Passage from one academic year to the next is automatic. After a two-year course, usually from 14 to 16 years of age, most pupils take their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), assessed on the basis of a mixture of course work and a written examination, in individual subjects.

Pupils obtaining at least five passes at GCSE can then specialize for two years (usually from 16 to 18 years of age) in two or three subjects, in which they take the General Certificate of Education Advanced level (A-level) examination. This is used as an entrance qualification for university (minimum two passes) and other types of higher education, as well as for many forms of professional training.

Schools in England
Schools in England are not the same as in our country. Children begin to go to school when they are five years old. From five to seven they are in infant schools An infant school is like a kindergarten. The children draw and paint, they sing and listen to stories which the teacher reads to them. They also play games. In these schools they begin to learn to read and write.
From seven to eleven children in England go to a junior school. Here they all learn to read and write and do mathematics.
From eleven to sixteen boys and girls in England go to a secondary school. They begin to learn in form one. The sixth form is the last form in this school. They have many subjects in their time-table.
In England schoolchildren do not go to schools on Saturdays and Sundays.

My favorite lesson is Physical Training.
Usually we have our physical training lessons either in the gymnasium or on the sports ground. Our sports ground is situated behind the school. On the sports ground there are a football field, a volleyball ground and a basketball ground.
Before the PT lessons we put on our sports uniform. After we have changed our clothes, we go to the gymnasium and line up. At the beginning of the lesson we usually do gymnastic exercises. Then we pull up, jump, climb the rope.

In Great Britain children begin to go to school at the age of five. First they study at infant schools. In these schools they learn to draw with coloured pencils and paints. They also make figures out of plasticine and work with paper and glue. They play much because they are very young. Later they begin to learn letters and read, write and count.
At the age of seven English schoolchildren go to junior schools. They do many subjects: English and Maths, History and Music, Natural History and Drawing, Handicrafts, French and Latin.
They do not go to school as early as we do, but they stay there longer. The first lesson usually starts at 9 o’clock. There are 3 lessons with short breaks of 10 minutes between them and then an hour break for lunch. After lunch they have two more lessons which are over by half past three.
If you have a look at an English pupil’s school record, you will see that the marks in it differ from the marks we have. Our schoolchildren get marks from 1 to 5 (12). At English school there are marks from 1 up to 10 and at some schools from 1 up to 100.
Junior school ends at the age of 11 when pupils take the Eleven Plus examination and then secondary school begins. At the age of 16 schoolchildren take their exams. Only 45 per cent continue with fulltime education after 16. The rest go to work or join employment training schemes.

“There are lots of classes in our school, but I like the Music and Arts classroom most of all. Frankly speaking, Music and Arts are my favorite subjects. Maybe it’s the reason why I like this classroom so much. There are a lot of pictures on the walls. Some of them are made by senior students; some are the reproductions of masterpieces of famous artists. There is also a large piano in the classroom, and our teacher plays it every lesson” – “В нашей школе много классов. Но мне больше всего нравится класс музыки. Честно говоря, музыка и изобразительное искусство – это мои любимые предметы. Может быть, именно поэтому мне этот класс так и нравится. В этом классе на стенах висят картины. Некоторые из них нарисованы старшеклассниками, а некоторые – это репродукции шедевров известных художников. Также в классе стоит большое пианино, наш учитель играет на нем на каждом уроке”.
