Profession of a teacher is one of the most ancient professions but even today it still remains one of the most important. Teachers do not only educate their students, but bring them up and help them become part of the society. Not everyone can be a teacher as being a teacher means being a good example. Teacher must have an immaculate reputation, be someone who his or her students can be proud of, trust and seek advice.

Teachers, along with parents, take part in the process of upbringing. Teachers help resolve conflicts and arguments, they explain the rules of behaviour and a lot more. It is very important for a teacher to find an approach to every student. Professionalism of a teacher also plays a great role.

One of such examples is my teacher of maths. I understand everything at these lessons. She is very good at explaining new material. After that one of us goes to the blackboard and we do some exercises together. Then she gives us an opportunity to practise it on our own.

During this time she comes up to every student. If somebody makes a mistake she explains what was wrong. If someone has a difficulty in understanding the material she always offers to stay after classes. Then she can explain it all over again.

Профессия учителя является одной из древнейших профессий, но даже сегодня она остается одной из самых важных. Учителя не только дают образование своим ученикам, но воспитывают их и помогают им стать частью общества. Не все могут стать учителем, так как быть учителем – значит быть хорошим примером. У учителя должна быть безупречная репутация, он должен быть тем, кем его ученики будут гордиться, кому будут доверять и обращаться за советом.

Учителя, как и родители, принимают участие в процессе воспитания. Они помогают разрешать конфликты и ссоры, они разъясняют правила поведения и многое другое. Для учителя важно найти подход к каждому ученику. Профессионализм учителя также играет значимую роль.

Одним из таких примеров является моя учительница математики. На этих уроках я понимаю все. Она очень хорошо объясняет новый материал. После этого один из нас идет к доске, и мы решаем несколько примеров вместе. Далее она дает нам возможность попрактиковаться самостоятельно.

В это время она подходит к каждому ученику. Если кто-то допускает ошибку, она объясняет, что было сделано неправильно. Если кому-то трудно понять материал, она всегда предлагает остаться после уроков. Тогда она может объяснить все еще раз.

На русском: В детстве я мечтала быть певицей, потому что любила петь и хотела стать знаменитой, но потом поняла, что это была только лишь детская мечта. Я люблю много читать и писать что-то интересное, высказывать свое мнение и спорить
о чем-либо и быть может именно поэтому я стала задумываться о профессии журналиста. Сейчас я уже уверенно могу сказать, что это именно то, что мне нужно.

I like to read and write a lot of interesting things, express my opinion and argue about anything and maybe that’s why I began to think about the profession of a journalist. Now I can confidently say that this is exactly what I need.

A jurist is a professional who studies, develops, applies or otherwise deals with the law. Well, hello there!
My job as police officer requires me to detect crimes, investigate for clues, find and catch lawbreakers and criminals and then judge them depending on their wrongs. I work at the Criminal Investigation Department. In order to improve my professional skills and abilities as a police officer I often have to overwork, rely on my insight and make hard decisions while making judgments. It’s not easy at all since it requires you to perform well under operational and often dangerous conditions.

The medical profession - a very important job. Doctor treats people. If a person is not healthy - call the doctor. The physician should always be kind and merciful, because the thing that he does, reduces suffering

patient and saves him from death. People refer to the doctor is always special, they are valued and respected. The medical profession has a long history. The medical profession, in the words of Anton Chekhov is a feat. "It requires the purity of the soul and the mind. We must be clearmentally, morally clean and tidy physically. "It is hard to imagine what would happen to the planet if it were not for the doctors. If no one studied the causes and nature of disease, was not looking for life-saving medicines and treatments. How much depends on the skill, professionalism, kindness doctor. More authoritative than the doctor, the more healing his medicine.

Chef — a person whose profession is cooking.

Journalist is a very important job. He must informate us about current events. Also journalist must have different skills and abilities. A journalist needs to have excellent writing skills. He must be inquisitive, creative, interested in current affairs. A journalist must have an enquiring mind, a knowledge of the law as it affects journalism, high standards of accuracy. The main intention of those working in the journalism profession is to provide their readers and audiences with accurate, reliable information.

I like the profession designer. It is very interesting and exciting. Of course, she as an ordinary profession severe. To become a designer, you need to draw well. I have so much talent. Designers first draw a sketch and then transform it into a real figure. Designers are different. There are the designers who design things, or houses, apartments, porches. I think in the future I will become a designer. Because I love this profession and I strive to do everything possible to become a designer.

Plans for future is a problem that worries not only me, but my friends, classmates, parents and teachers. The reason is that at the age of 17 we have to make a very important choice in our life – the choice of a profession. As for me, I want to be an economist. I like to read books of economics, research articles and analyze them. Nowadays this profession has become one of the most useful, modern and interesting. Also, I want to study economics as I’m very interested in current economic processes both in our country and in other countries. It’s not a secret that our country (Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan) is now through a difficult periods of times. That’s why it’s very important for our country to have efficienteconomists to raise our economy at a high level.

My Future Profession (Artist).
“What should I choose as my future profession?” – this is a question that every young person asks himself entering the adult world. Of course, it’s not an easy thing to choose a profession out of more than 2,000 existing in the world. It’s especially difficult if you like doing different things, if you have different hobbies and interests.
Almost half of a person’s life passes at work. So it’s extremely important to make the right choice of a profession. Psychologists believe that the choice of a future profession must be in accordance with the individual’s talents and abilities. In order to make the right choice you have to analyze your interests and abilities and try to understand what you’d like to achieve in your life.
For example, I like biology. I adore animals, plants, insects, and all forms of life. I spend many hours reading books about wild nature, characters and habits of animals, underwater life etc. I believe that nature is so mysterious and powerful, that it’s natural to admire it and to devote all your life to its exploration.
But it’s not my only hobby. Most of all I like painting and I want to be an artist. As a child, I began to draw everything I saw around myself. I drew my parents, my friends, my kitten, flowers and other things. Then I entered art school and began to study painting.
My parents doubt this is the right decision. They say this profession demands on you to give it all your energy and passion and one must be fully dedicated to it in order to achieve perfection. At the same time nowadays it’s difficult to earn your living with painting. But I don’t agree with them.
I think that modern life open new horizons for artists and they can work in many fields today. Many artists work as designers for advertising agencies or for web design studios. Yes, there are many designers who draw with computer programs like Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, but the skill of drawing by hand is highly appreciated in many design studios. Besides, such job demands not only computer knowledge, but also creative thinking of an artist.
So I look in my future with optimism and hope to become an artist.
