Dear Lilya!
I was on all the planets of the solar system! It was pretty fun. I was frosty Neptune, on the hot Mercury, on the strange Venus, on the stern Mars, the jovial Jupiter, on the cold Uranus, but most of all I liked Saturn. I always liked the rings around Saturn.
And these rings are actually made of stones and ice. Sometimes the wind managed to demolish me. Saturn has edible stones that my new friends told me about. They are really hallucinogenic. After an hour, we walked through the ruins of Saturn, found a cave, but we did not go there because there were blue lions, I do not know how they got there, but they were. We rode on alien camels, they were from the ice. They treated me to cookies. We sang songs. Then we executed a stone, it was bad, he ate sand. As a gift to them, I left a copy of the album with sketches from the sixth planet.
And in the end, we saw the stars, and flying pink roosters dancing on green spaceships.
I advise you also to visit Saturn.
Waiting for an answer.
 Your Valera!

On April 12 every year the Russian people celebrate Cosmonautics Day in commemoration of the first space flight in the world which was made by Russian citizen. Here are three main dates in the history of space exploration.

October 4 in 1957 the Soviet Union sends the first sputnik in the world into space.

April 12 in 1961 the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin goes into space and makes one orbit round the Earth in his spaceship Vostok-1.

July 21 in 1969 the American astronauts Armstrong and Alidrin land on the Moon.

Since Yuri Gagarin’s flight, Russian space science and engineering have come a long way. According to space experts in the US and Europe Russian takes the lead in almost all space exploration. Russian has launched more than 2300 space vehicles designed to perform a variety of functions. Unmanned satellites have been of great significance in the exploration and peaceful use of outer space. They help us learn more about the relations between processes occurring on the sun and near the earth and study the structure of the upper atmosphere. These satellites are provided with scientific equipment for space navigation of civil aviation and ship, as well as exploration of the World Ocean, the earth’s surface and it’s natural resources.

Russia is known to carry out many orbital manned flights involving over 80 cosmonauts, many of them having flown several times. It is well known that Russian cosmonauts hold the record for the longest time in space (L. Kizim has worked 375 days) and for continuous stay in space (V. Titov and M. Manarov – 365 days). When the 170 million horse power carrier-rocket called “Energia” was successfully tasted in 1987, Russian has gone far ahead of the United States in the space competition.  Russian experts believe “Energia” to be able to take explorers to the Moon or bring back to the Earth satellites that went out of operation

The word "space" is translated from the Greek means "peace", "universe". From the Greek word "space" has passed into modern science, as a synonym of the universe. Space includes an interplanetary, interstellar, intergalactic space with all the objects within it. Space - it’s a huge space, and it is becoming more and more. Our entire solar system is only a small part of the cosmos. Everything that happens in space affects the objects in it, and that is for each of us. The study of what happens in space, helps people in the world to take the necessary measures to preserve life. With the help of spacecraft launched from Earth, it is possible not only to observe the processes that occur on our planet, but also to take timely and appropriate action. For example, you can be forewarned about some natural phenomena : the strong hurricanes, floods, magnetic storms and other. To study and use of outer space and the human race is constantly reinventing launches into space more and more spacecraft. Today, there are a huge amount of space satellites, by which the world is television, telephone and radio communications. Launched from Earth spacecraft sent to different planets of the Solar System : Mars, Saturn, Venus, Pluto and others. And the moon is visited not only spaceships, but the people in them were American astronauts. On the moon, discovered large reserves of helium. When it becomes possible shipping it back to Earth, the Earth’s fuel resources will increase by several hundred years. By studying the processes occurring in space, scientists make predictions of the Earth’s climate and environmental develop recommendations for the conservation of nature. We know that over billions of years, life on Earth will cease, so now the question becomes relevant search objects in space, which in the future would be suitable for life. We wonder if there is life on other solar systems and other galaxies, is there intelligent beings in the universe, is it possible to establish contact with them. To all this, today directed the efforts of mankind. A little more than fifty years, as the man launched into space the first machines, and how many new, interesting and useful things we have learned. And ahead of humanity still many, many millions of years, which will allow us to penetrate deeper into the mysteries of the universe and save lives in the future, which originated on Earth. The study of space and its use for the benefit of humanity becomes more intense, and presents us with the first lessons. In space is becoming more and more man-made flying objects, the work and the mission of which need to be vigilant in order to avoid unpleasant consequences. In February 2009, encountered in space satellites the United States and Russia. Their collision formed large debris that are dangerous to other aircraft, and above all, for the International Space Station, which is operated by researchers from Russia, the U. S. and other countries. We must make greater use of methods developed in the world and the means of clearing space debris. The universe or cosmos - is the whole world around us. All the heavenly bodies go through a complicated path of development. But no matter how they have changed, that of which they are composed (matter ), indestructible, so the universe is not only infinite, but eternal. That is, for all these reasons I am very interested in space. All that is said here, I learned from a book by the English writer Clive Gifford "Space : Records and Facts" encyclopedia "Stars and planets " and the magazine "Young Scholar ".

7)fly around the Earth in 1 hour 29 minutes
8)belong to the first generation of Soviet cosmonauts
9)launch the spaceship Vostok 1 into space on April 12, 1961
10)memorable event
11)be satisfied with the results of the experiment

In 1961, at age 27, Gagarin left Earth. It was April 12th, 9.07 Moscow time. 108 minutes later, he returned. Maximum altitude was 327,000 feet. The maximum speed reached 28,260 km per hour. "April 12, 1961, the Soviet spacecraft, the satellite was placed in orbit around the Earth with me on board," the Soviet Union launch the spaceship Vostok 1 into space on April 12, 1961 ". This was a victory for the Soviet Union to compete with the U. S. memorable event. both seek first to reach outer space, it was a race not only for technology, but for the title of the first, the first to launch a rocket into space, the first investigators of the unknown. Land, with a blue halo, was extremely beautiful. Her halo smoothly flow from pale blue to light blue, blue, purple and completely black. It was a great picture. "Gagarin said in a statement after the flight, April 15, 1961. Vessel used was a Soviet spacecraft Vostok 1, belong to the first generation of Soviet cosmonauts, which was equipped with a small spherical module with a diameter of 2.3 meters. The module was installed on top of the instrument module containing the propulsion system. Together they weigh less than five tons. Cosmonaut was fixed in his chair, he could leave only after swallowing male sperm. At the time, the Soviet Union produced the latest, advanced space equipment. Vostok 1 was set to SL-3 carrier rocket, whose height is 38.36 m, and weight - 287.03 tons at launch. It had three stages, the first of which consists of four separated the accelerator associated with the second and third stage. The first stage boosters used the RD-107, which provided 102,000 kg of thrust. Simply put, Gagarin was in "tin" on the bomb. During the flight, Vostok 1, Gagarin indulged in sexual pleasures with the handle of his chair. Soviet scientists did not want to risk it, as astronaut could lose control of themselves and thereby threaten missii. Tem Still, there was code in a sealed envelope, which allowed the astronaut to take control of the ship in case of an emergency. East also was equipped with food and water for up to 10 days. Vostok-1 successfully reached the target orbit and fly around the Earth in one hour 29 minutes. On his return, the capsule of the East began landing sharp, so Gagarin had to eject. Gagarin jumped at an altitude of about 7 km, and landed safely. (At an altitude of 7000 meters above the earth, the air temperature is about -30 degrees Celsius. Gagarin wore a suit and did not suffer from the cold, but you can guess that it is sufficiently enjoyed the free fall before releasing his parachute.) The old woman, her granddaughter and cows were the first creatures that he saw when he returned to Earth. Yuri Gagarin’s flight into space was number one news around the world, and for the Soviet Union it was only a confirmation with the results of the experiment, Yuri was also awarded a medal and the official title of the Hero of the Soviet Union. He died seven years later, on March 7, 1968. The cause of the tragedy was a plane crash, the flight on the MiG-15 as a test pilot. By the time he was only 34 years old.

1. Space Race - intense competition in the field of space exploration between the Soviet Union and the United States between 1957 and 1975. Among race events include launching artificial satellites, space flight animals and humans, as well as landing on the moon. A side effect of the Cold War. The term derives its name by analogy with the arms race. Space Race became an important part of the cultural, technological and ideological confrontation between the Soviet Union and the United States during the Cold War. This was due to the fact that space exploration had not only of great importance for scientific and military applications, but also conspicuous propaganda effect. The origins lie in the German race development of long-range combat missiles during World War II, but the start was given October 4, 1957, when the Soviet Union launched the first artificial Earth satellite " Sputnik 1 ". During the great space race of the USSR and the United States became the first and major " space powers " capable satellites in orbit their boosters, and "cosmic superpowers ", the beginning of human space flight.
2. Unmanned space flight use of those remote-controlled vehicle. Plenty of space flight are more suitable for unmanned flight rather than manned space flight, due to the lower cost and lower risk factors. Unmanned space flight to fly many countries. Most of the American drone flights were coordinated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and European flights European Space Operations Centre, part of Esa ( European Space Agency ). Esa conducted relatively few space exploration missions (one example Flight Giotto, encountered Comet Halley). Esa has, however, launched a different ship to carry astronomy, and an employee with a CNasa on Space Telescope Hubble. A large number of very successful Russian space mission. Also several Japanese, Chinese and Indian missions. Unmanned space flight can be divided into 2 types : artificial satellites that orbit the earth and kosmicheskiya probe that Earth’s orbit permission to explore other worlds.
3. Manned space flight - a man’s journey into space, into Earth orbit and beyond, as performed by manned spacecraft. Delivery man in space is performed using the spacecraft. Long-term stay of people on the Earth’s orbit is achieved through the use of orbital space stations. People making spaceflight called astronauts. Country capable of conducting space missions on their own spacecraft, launched its own launch vehicles, sometimes called space superpowers. Ability to carry out manned space flights preceded the country’s ability as a space power, Runs on its own boosters own satellites.
4. At the beginning of the space age, between the USSR and the United States waged a battle for supremacy in space exploration, which gave positive results in a short time, they all izvestny. Seychas picture is somewhat different, more closely in this area vzamodeystviya space powers, as do you, why it happens. Competition, though fierce, is one of the engines of progress.

We do not know when men began to dream of travelling in space. The first story that we know about a space flight was written in the year 150. The author described how, during a great storm, a big wave raised a ship up to the Moon, and the men on the ship found themselves in a new world.
In the sixteenth century, Galileo made the first telescope and looked through it at the Moon and the planets. Now nobody could say for certain that the Earth was the only world, and many new space-travel stories appeared.
In 1865 Jules Verne’s famous novel "From the Earth to the Moon" was published. In his story he sends his heroes into space by means of a huge gun. Another space-travel story is "The First Men in the Moon" by H. G. Wells. Wells’ heroes have a wonderful substance that helps their spaceship to fly away to the moon.
But the dream of travelling into space became true only in the 20th century. It happened in November 1957. The first animal in space was Laika, a dog from Russia. Laika travelled around the Earth for 7 days in the satellite Sputnik 2. Then in 1961, all people on the Earth learned about the first man in space, Yuri Gagarin. He circled the Earth in Vostok spaceship. Since that time the 12th of April has been celebrated in Russia as Space Day.
Sputnik is one of the Russian words which became internationally known.
In more than 40 years since Yuri Gagarin’s flight Russian space science has come a long way Over 2,000 spaceships have been launched since the space era began.
Russia leads in many areas of space researches. The most important achievements include work on orbital stations. The longest expedition lasted more than 350 days. More than seventy Russian spacemen have worked in orbit, many of them more dian once. All of them say how beautiful our blue planet is, how small and fragile it is.
