Unfortunetely, i do not have a lot of free time, but i still have a hobby.
I adore reading. It does not matter what the book is about, i read everything. Adventures, horror stories, romans, classics, whatever. I mean reading for me is something more that just litters on pieces of paper. Reading is another world of mystery and happines. You can leave your problems behind and just move ti the atmosphere of the book, you can live for the main character. And this is so amazing!
So, to sum up, i’d like to say that reading not only a source of new words which makes you literate, but also way of great passtime.

My hobby is drawing
I have many favorite Hobbies. I love to read, I like to ride a bike, and I love the story. But my main hobby is drawing.
I started drawing when I was little. Mother and father very often gave me pens in a variety of colors, colored pencils and a beautiful white paper for drawing. I like to portray on a clean sheet something beautiful, plants, animals, sometimes people. So often I’ve done cards for mom and dad.
However, first my pictures were not the best. Something was awry, something that did not happen. But I always continued to draw. Now, I think I can draw very well. My works hang on the walls in my room. I often send your creations to competitions of children’s drawings and often receive diplomas and prizes.
Moreover, I go to art school. I like it very much. In art school there is an atmosphere of skill and creativity. We draw still lifes, sometimes people. In the summer we go to picnic and draw nature, flowers, forest, trees, houses.
Now my drawings are pretty good. But someday I want to learn to draw like the great Russian painters I. Shishkin, I. Aivazovsky, K. Bryullov and! I’m sure I’ll be able to draw even better if I tried.

У меня очень много любимых увлечений. Я люблю читать, я люблю кататься на велосипеде, и мне очень нравится история. Но мое самое главное хобби – это рисование.
Я начал рисовать, когда был еще маленьким. Мама с папой очень часто дарили мне фломастеры самых разных цветов, цветные карандаши и красивую, белоснежную бумагу для рисования. Мне нравилось изображать на чистом листе что-нибудь красивое, растения, животных, иногда людей. Поэтому я нередко сам делал открытки для мамы и папы.
Однако, первые мои рисунки были не самыми лучшими. Кое-что получалось криво, кое-что вообще не получалось. Но я всегда продолжал рисовать. Теперь, мне кажется, я рисую очень хорошо. Мои работы висят на стенах в моей комнате. Я часто отправляю свои творения на конкурсы детских рисунков и часто получаю дипломы и призы.
Более того, я хожу в художественную школу. Мне там очень нравится. В художественной школе царит настоящая атмосфера мастерства и творчества. Мы обычно рисуем натюрморты, иногда людей. Летом мы ходим на пленер и рисуем природу, цветы, леса, деревья, дома.
Сейчас мои рисунки довольно-таки хорошие. Но когда-нибудь я хочу научиться рисовать как великие русские художники И. Шишкин, И. Айвазовский и К. Брюллов! Я уверен, что смогу рисовать еще лучше, если буду стараться.

Gardening
The history of gardening in England goes back for many centuries. The Romans laid out classical gardens on their conquered territory of Albion, although some believe that when the conquerors left, they took the art of gardening with them. Gardening was reborn with the arrival in England of another invasion, led by William the Conqueror, who enjoyed hunting and building castles. Both these activities were directly linked with the construction of gardens and parks.
Gardening was not an exclusively English occupation and for many years they were under the influence of the Italians, the French and, for a short period, the Danish gardeners, all of whom were the unsurpassed masters of gardening. However, the English soon found their own style and the English were able to add their share to this wonderful occupation. Furthermore while in Romance countries the gardens and parks were works of art, the creation of selected artists, in England they became part of life and today, as one hundred years ago, anybody who possesses a scrap of land is not only its owner but also the creator of his own, though small, garden.
English gardens are the greatest of the national pastimes. You only need to look at the faces of the English as they walk around garden-museums busily discussing the features of various flowers and making comments like “What beautiful hydrangeas! I should plant some in the porch straight away” or “I’ve got the same begonia, but it’s faded” to which the reply comes “Ah, well you probably planted it in the sun.” Each estate which is open to the public will have its own unique garden and park, otherwise the number of visitors would drop rapidly. Furthermore, since the English do not like simply to admire these items but also like to have them, practically everything that is growing in this or that museum can also be bought and then planted at home under your very own window.

Mowing grass is also very important. Every Sunday morning (except for winter) they come out to mow their lawns. The British see an unmown lawn not only as a sign of laziness, but also as disrespect to others. To outsiders, it almost seems like an obsession but to a British person it is an important social duty. The grass has the impression to be made of velvet, it looks like the painted floor.
Walking is also very popular. Ask any British person if they have a pair of walking boots and the answer will probably be «yes».
