Kiev is the capital of Ukraine, located in the north central part of the country on the Dnieper River
Today Kiev is an important industrial, scientific, educational and cultural centre of Eastern Europe. It is home to many high-tech industries, higher education institutions and world-famous historical landmarks. The city has an extensive infrastructure and highly developed system of public transport, including the Kiev Metro.
There are many historical places in Kiev. For example, St Sophia Cathedral, which was built in the 11th century, Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra that was founded in the 11th century, St Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, which was ruined and recently completely restored, St. Andrew’s church in baroque style  
There are lots of museums in Kiev: the Museum of Ukrainian Arts, the Historic Museum, the Taras Shevchenko Museum, the Lesya Ukrainka Museum, the museum of M. Bulgakov and others.

Moscow is the capital of Russia. It was founded 8 centuries ago by Yuri Dolgoruky. Historians have accepted the year of 1147 as the start of Moscow’s history. 
Now Moscow is one of the biggest cities in Europe. 
The heart of Moscow is Red Square, the central and the most beautiful square in Moscow. Here you can see the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed. It’s a masterpiece of Russian architecture. But first of all everybody knows Red Square because the Kremlin is situated here. The Kremlin is the oldest historical and architectural center of Moscow. There are three cathedrals, the Bell Tower of Ivan the Great, The Spassky Tower with the clock attract the tourists’ attention. The Tzar-cannon and Tzar-bell the biggest cannon and bell in the world.
Moscow is also famous for its museums. At the Tretyakov Gallery paintings of the great russian artists are collected and at the Museum of Fine Arts there are masterpieces of european painters.
There are a lot of theatres in Moscow. The best-known is the Bolshoi Opera House.
Moscow has the oldest Russian Univercity founded in 1755 by Lomonosov.
The Metro opened in 1935  is being constantly extended. It is one of the tourists attractions of the russian capital.

Анапа – мой родной город. Такой же, как и для многих моих сверстников, но также и для их родителей, дедушек и бабушек. Это город, вобравший в себя красочную палитру представителей разных народов, культур, вероисповеданий. За свою долгую историю Анапа не только сменила много названий, но и много исторических ролей. Была она древнегреческим полисом, местом проживания адыгских племен, турецкой крепостью, русским морским курортом… Но живут в Анапе представители одного славянского народа, чьи предки прибыли сюда 140 лет назад из тогдашней Австро-Венгрии. Это – чехи, о которых я узнала, разглядывая старые пожелтевшие фотографии в семейных альбомах знакомых моих родителей, слушая их истории и рассматривая старые, рассыпающиеся, но бережно хранимые книги на чешском языке.  В 1860-х гг. Чехи основали между Анапой и Новороссийском несколько сел. В частности, под Анапой они основали села Павловку и Варваровку. Многие из них позже переехали жить в Анапу. И сегодня в городе проживают этнические чехи – потомки тех переселенцев, первых жителей Павловки и Варваровки (впрочем, Павловки как таковой уже не существует – она слилась с Варваровкой). Были среди них весьма примечательные личности, о некоторых из которых я хочу рассказать. Ведь история города – это, в первую очередь, история его жителей.  

Дорогой друг, хочу рассказать тебе о месте в котором бы мне хотелось побывать. Я бы хотел побывать в городе Париже. Париж- это яркое небо. Так говорят некоторые люди из Парижа. И я тоже так считаю. Эта Эйфелива башня. Эти чудесные реки. Эта атмосфера добра.
