It is always fun to visit a zoo. Both children and grown-ups like to watch different animals: mammals, reptiles and others. The problem is that not every city and every town has a zoo.
In my opinion, we do not have to build a zoo on every place where people live. Firstly, there are regions where animals will not live. For example, northern parts of our country lack comfortable conditions for most of animals to live. It is very cold there, and you cannot provide enough food for them. Secondly, building a zoo wherever you want is economically unjustified. Many populated localities are so small that there are not enough people who would like to pay money for visiting the zoo.
But it goes without saying that zoos are not only a funny attraction but also a kind of education. It gives positive emotions as well as useful and interesting information about the animal world. That is why a lot of people want to have a zoo built in every city and town.
Nevertheless, I cannot support this idea. If you want to know more about animality, you can use the Internet as an inexhaustible source of information: you can read thousands of pages and watch videos on youtube.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasize the fact that any zoo is great, but you should not build zoos in every city and every town.

The pros and cons of the zoo
Начнем с Плюсов - Зоопарк это отличной развлечение для детей и земли а так же место где можно посмотреть на разных животных не выезжая и страны. Животных там кормят, за ними ухаживают и могут помочь сохранить вымирающие виды. Но есть и минусы, животным тесно в клетке. Животные не любят когда на них смотрят толпы людей, хотя и привыкают они любят свободу. Не все животные переносят постоянные мытьё и расчёсывание. Я не могу сказать, чего в зоопарках больше, плюсов или минусов ведь с одной  стороны им хорошо, постоянный уход. Но минусы дают о себе знать. Я считаю, что лучше помещать животных в заповедники, так как там они чувствуют себя свободнее!
Ингл. Let’s start with the Pros - the Zoo is great fun for kids and the earth but also a place where you can look at different animals and not leaving the country. The animals there are fed, cared for and can help save endangered species. But there are downsides, of animals cramped in a cage. Animals do not like when you see crowds of people, although getting used they love the freedom. Not all animals tolerate constant washing and brushing. I can’t say what zoos more pluses or minuses on one hand it is good, constant care. But the disadvantages make themselves felt. I think it’s better to get the animals in the reserves, as they feel freer!

Every city has one or more zoos. For a while, people think that a zoo is no useful purpose. If I were faced with this issue, I would think that zoos are useful. In the following discussion, I would like to reason and provide evidence to support my viewpoint.
The first reason is that zoos are often used as places to preserve the endangered species, such as the giant pandas and tigers. It is the conservation of animals that is the most important function of a zoo. With the advances in reproductive technologies, which assist in breeding captive animals, the zoo has become the most important place for animal conservation. Thanks to zoos, certain species of animals have been saved from extinction. Such animals are bred in captivity and when they are ready to survive in the wild, are reintroduced to their original habitat - in the rain forests of Brazil, for instance.
In the second place, children can obtain direct knowledge about a variety of animals by visiting zoos. They can see what a tiger is like, hear various sounds of birds and tell one animal from another. If there is no such a place, how can they make contact with animals? They may never have a chance to see various animals even though they learn many from books. When I was a little girl, I liked animals very much, especially birds. But I could not feed them for myself, so the zoo which was located near my home was the place I went to most frequent. And I really love these places.
Finally, a zoo is a place for fun. In fact, this is why it is so good at educating the public about the importance of conserving wildlife and the environment: it puts fun into education. Seeing pictures is not the same as seeing animals at close up. What makes visiting a zoo so enjoyable is our close contact with them. Therefore a zoo not only attracts many tourists from other countries, it also allows us to see, without having to leave home, big cats and exotic animals of distant countries.
In summary, I believe that a zoo has some useful purposes to serve: to preserve the endangered species, to educate the public about wildlife, and for its visitors to have fun. So a zoo of course is a useful place for us and we should have them.

Most people would agree that in the modern world zoos are very necessary. Many people consider that animals better in zoos, others consider that animals better in their natural habitat. Consider the advantages and disadvantages.
There are many positive aspects at keeping animals in zoos. First, it would help save the endangered species. Second, in zoos people can see animals alive, feed and caress their.
On the other hand, keeping animals in zoos have its disadvantages. To begin with, in zoos animals have not freedom, because they should live in close cages. Also, animals completely depend of people. Because of it animals loose their natural instincts.
All things considered, although there are many disadvantages at keeping animals in zoos I strongly argue that zoos are necessary to preserve endangered species.

Animals are amasing creatures! It’s really interesting to watch them and learn new things about them. A sad thing about keeping an animal in a zoo is the hard conditions that the animal will have to live in. Well, for one, the animal that is caught in the wild is confined to a cage. No matter how big the cage is - it’s still much smaller space to live in than in the wild. While they arfe in the cage, it’s obvios that the carnivouros animals cannot hunt for food. The zoo suplies it with meat that is already dead everyday, so the animals hunting sences become duller.

This is all hard to explaine, but I think it might be easier to demonstrate it like this. Imagine yourself in the place of the animal. One day, you are caught and taken away from your home and family. You are then placed into a cage that is far to small to move in after what you are used to. Sure, you’re fed everyday, but it’s still not the same feeling as eating in the wild. Kids come to see you everyday and cause a lot of noise. Other animals in the zoo tell you that the’ve been here for  years already so that probably means that you wont leave this place any time soon.

Now, don’t think that zoo’s are terrible places to be in. Zoo’s can be very nice places for animals to live in too. A lot of animals that are caugtht in the wild were in somekind of danger, so by bringing them to the zoo, humans are able to save them. Especially if the animal gets a clean cage and good food everyday it might be really good to be in a zoo.

After all that I wrote, I will leave it up to you to deside what you will about zoo’s. There is enough evidence in here for one to like or dislike a zoo. The choice is up to you

Zoos provide a rare and unique opportunity to peer into the wild without actually traveling to distant locations around the world, searching for often very rare animals. One of the central advantages - at least in terms of human advantages - lay in the education that people receive when visiting a zoo. They receive firsthand knowledge of how animals behave and act. The  zoos usually have information describing the animal, its history and natural location. Learning about animals also brings empathy to many people, raising awareness about their endangerment in the wild, which can often be attributed to human causes. Zoos often take an active approach in helping animal populations. Many animals have been tremendously helped this way, including famous zoo residents such as the white tiger and panda bear. The downside to keeping animals in a zoo is the captivity they face. No matter how nice the zoo is, room is limited for zoo animals, which can be especially troublesome for large animals that are prone to roaming. Taking animals out of their habitat serves as an ethical issue because of its focus on human benefit as opposed to animal benefit, with the exceptions of captive breeding and freeing animals from an otherwise dangerous situation. Although most zoos are built as nice abodes, others lacking proper maintenance can create poor living conditions for animals. More common in developing countries, these zoos’ poor upkeep can encourage disease and poor animal health.

Zoo is the one of the most exciting entertainment on the Earth. I find it kind of interesting because I am interested in animals and like nature. As I live in the city I cannot see a lot of rare animals anywhere but at zoo. I’m sorry for animals as they lost their freedom, everyone has a right to live free life and animals should live in wild life but what to do to ill animals? Zoo is their chance to be alive and have wonderful life. They are in cage but the are loved. They are in cage but they have a lot of conditions like real ones. I can understand GreenPeace but I want to give a chance to people to learn more about nature and one more chance to live for weak animals.
