That’s why I knew I was going to become an engineer already when studying at the secondary school. It is connected with many aspects. First of all, my granddad was also an engineer. Secondly, my teachers say I have necessary abilities for becoming a professional engineer. Thirdly, I’m sure having such education one can get a prestigious job. One of the institutions in my region that prepares engineers is the Petersburg State Transport University. My parents would be happy if I enter this university. It will give me many opportunities for career development. I have always had a talent for maths and physics. I enjoy working with facts and figures, solving problems. So, I see engineering as the perfect extension of these talents. I hope that after studying at the university I will be able to apply my knowledge to real world situations and bring benefits to the society. They say that the university, where I want to study, educates engineers, who build and maintain railroads throughout our large country. At the moment I’m a high-school student and I get ready for my final exams. If I pass them successfully, my chances to become a student of engineering faculty notably increase. Not only men in my family have been involved in this profession. One of my aunts, who lives in Moscow, is also a professional engineer. She promised to help me with practical part, when needed. Finally, I want to add that I’m aware that being an engineer isn’t easy. It is challenging both mentally and physically, but I’m ready to give it a try. Надеюсь, что после учебы в университете я смогу применить свои знания в реальных ситуациях и принести пользу обществу. Говорят, что университет, в котором я хочу учиться, готовит инженеров, которые строят и обслуживают железные дороги во всей нашей большой стране. На данный момент я старшеклассник и готовлюсь к выпускным экзаменам. Если я сдам их успешно, мои шансы стать студентом инженерного факультета заметно увеличатся. As we live in society, we meet a lot of people during our lives. We communicate with all these people, but our attitudes towards each of these people are different. Usually I classify people I know as acquaintances, friends and close friends. I’m going to tell you about the best friends of mine. We met each other in school. They are Victor Danilov and Dmitri Petrov.

Victor is a good-natured guy of medium height, strong in body, light-haired with light blue eyes. Usually he is the life and soul of the party. Victor is fond of foreign languages. Not so long ago he decided to study English. He worked on it persistently, and now he speaks English well.

Victor also likes music. He is a good singer, he plays mouth organ and dances better than Michael Jackson.

Dmitri is rather slim, not very tall, his hair is brown, his eyes are grey. Usually he wears T-shirts with emblems of football clubs, such as "Dinamo" (Moscow) and "Zenit"(St. Petersburg). He is an enthusiastic football fan.

Dmitri is an extremely sociable person. By means of e-mail he corresponds with many people from different countries. They discuss political and economical issues. Dmitri is also interested in philosophy. He often cites Confucius’s utterances.

My friends are very interesting to talk to. Both of them possess great charm, they are both very clever and educated guys, they are open-hearted and social, well-mannered and tactful. People usually like them. I’m happy to have such friends as Victor and Dmitri.

It was lovely time. My school friends were my classmates. We spent half of the day there. School was our second home. My school friends were very smart persons, they liked reading. Among them were two girls and one boy. We got on well together. We visited different places of interests in our town. We went in for sport. I liked playing basketball with my school friends. When we gathered together we could play two against two. That was amazing. We helped each to solve different problems. We gave good advices to each other. We could chat for an hours about everything. But nowadays they are hardly say "hello". Some of them are arrogant. That is very hard to see. Time changes people and shows who is who.:(

We always hear many students complain about having to study math or chemistry, even when they don’t want to become a doctor or an engeneer. And it’s possible to understand, it is actually true, the majority of the students won’t even use math in the future. however, it is still important to study compulsory subjects. First of all, there are thousands of jobs that require knowing mathematics, even the final exam mark will matter to a college or the university you’ll apply to. Actually, everyone uses math whether they realize it or not. In our everyday life we count in stores to find out how much something costs, and in the future things like that will stay important as well. Math helps us with other subjects, like physics and chemistry. A lot of math problems help the students to solve tasks in physics. 

There are many types of schools in Russia. There are public, private, specialized schools; schools where study only boys or only girls. Public schools are the most popular schools in my country. All types of children include persons with disablities can study at this schools. Education at that schools is free. In private schools usually study children of rich parents. Education there is very expensive. But your child will have in-depth knowledge. Specialized schools are schools where education is direct to speciality like music, military, art, drama. If parents see that their child have got talent in something speciality they can send him to this type of schools. In Russia schools only for boys or only for girls are in experimental phase. There are not really many schools with that type of education.
   As for me i think the best ways of education for my future child are public shcool or gymnasium. In public my child can get good free education and he can get on with boys and girls of all social status. In gymnasium he get education that much better than free. But in is not free. Education in this schools are qualitative but more expansive. Nevertheless education of my child is important for me.

Computer is the key to dominant technological revolutions around the world. Computers play a vital role in every field and profession now. Computer technology has had a deep impact on the education sector. Teaching as well as learning has become much easier by using computers comparatively.
Considering the use of computer technology in almost every sphere of life, it is important for everyone to have at least the basic knowledge of using computers. For this purpose, every child in every school should have access to computers. So that children can be able to use computer individually and effectively.
Now a days, lecture delivery involves use of computer and multimedia projector to convey concepts in effective way. However, learning of subjects other than basic knowledge of computer, does not necessitate computers being used by children in class rooms. Learning process requires children’s cognitive abilities (like attention and concentration) and inductive reasoning abilities. Use of computers would cause distraction of children deviating them from acute objective to gain clear understanding of concepts of the lecture. This is normal observation that instead of focusing on concepts being taught, children are engaged in trivial activities akin how, where or why to use computer for the concepts which is just wastage of precious time of students and teachers as well.
Hence, rather than making learning process more convenient and effectual for children, computers’ use in class rooms precipitates unfavorable outcomes. So computers’ use should be essential for only lab oriented subjects.

Many students come home from school to an empty household, with no one to share their thoughts of the day. Others come home to busy parents who take no interest in them. Still others wander the streets until dinnertime. Why should this be? An ideal solution to these problems would be a teen community center, a place where teenagers could find a sage haven among peers, finish homework, provide company, and generally have fun.
